Recently traveled to Playa del Carmen in December 2015 and booked a trip though Claire to scuba dive in Chak Mool cenote. I dove with my 13 year old son. Chris was our guide. Had a great day with Chris. Very knowledgeable, fun guide. My son and I really enjoyed diving in the cenote. The formations inside and the affects of the sunlight shining in through the opening into the cenote was amazing. Look forward to returning and doing another adventure with them. Chris took us out for lunch afterward to a great little local taco place with the best coconut fish and shrimp tacos. Thanks for a great adventure!!!

I recently traveled to Riviera Maya with my family of 4 as well as my brother's family of 4. One of the highlights of our trip was our day spent touring Tulum and snorkeling in a cenote. We had children ranging from 6-13 and all had a wonderful day. Chris, our guide, was fun, knowledgeable, and always working to ensure everyone was enjoying themselves. Our lunch in the jungle was wonderful too! Thank you for a great experience through and through!

We had children ranging from 6-13 and all had a wonderful day. Chris, our guide, was fun, knowledgeable, and always working to ensure everyone was enjoying themselves. Our lunch in the jungle was wonderful too! Thank you for a great experience through and through!

Our extended family of seven had an unforgettable private tour with an extremely knowledgeable guide, Chris and excellent driver Allan. We spent a full day exploring Chichen Itza, Ek Balam and Coba. We highly recommend this private tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico! There were two families in our party totaling 4 adults and 4 kids ages 7-12. Chris and Marianna were our guides. We started off at the ruins of Coba with a private tour guide. Coba is quite spread out so you need to bike around everywhere or be prepared to walk a lot. You can rent bikes or relax and sit in the back of bike cab. What a thrill to ride bikes in jungle looking at the ruins. A bonus was getting to a family of monkeys swinging in the trees! We also got to climb to the top of one of the pyramids, something you can't do at the other ruins. What a thrilling, breath-taking experience. Afterwards, we ate lunch at a great restaurant. We then went snorkeling in a cenote and then snorkeling in the ocean with turtles. It was a great combination and a very satisfying day.

Just returned from Mexico having taken two tours with Claire. Both tours were excellent in all respects. Very relaxed but tailored to our needs as a family. All arrangements and communication were excellent. Drinks and snacks provided on the van were very welcome, and the inclusive lunches at local restaurants were very good. You also get a private tour guide at each site (Chichen Itza, Coba and Tulum), all of whom were excellent. Definitely book with Claire, before you go to Mexico, as she is likely to be booked up in advance!

Just returned from Mexico having taken two tours with Claire. Both tours were excellent in all respects. Very relaxed but tailored to our needs as a family. Our group of 5 chose to do the 2 cenote tour - one inside cave with snorkeling and one outside with zip line and cliff jumping, Chris, our tour guide, first took us to the inside cenote and we only saw one other group while we were snorkeling. We passed by a more popular cenote that was just packed with cars and buses (you don't want to go to the popular cenotes, unless you love wall to wall people). Then we went to the outside cenote where we first zip-lined, then jumped off cliffs into the cenote. This was quite the adventure. There were 3 different heights to jump off of - about 5 ft, 12 ft, and 20 ft platforms. We had this cenote all to ourselves. We also had lunch at a mayan village, which tasted great. Highly recommend Absolute Adventure.

The weather was wet and windy and she stayed on top of the radar so that we toured Coba and Tulum in the best weather possible. We will schedule more tours with Absolute Adventure when we return to the area. It really was a terrific day.

Hours of fun... zip lining, rafting, cave swimming, and ATV driving. We'd go back and do it all again tomorrow, and we are recommending this adventure to all of our thrill-seeking friends!

Claire is a very knowledgable and kind person who is also an excellent guide. The locations that she took us to were beautiful and quiet. The tour was a private tour which allow the group to be small. She prepared all equipment and went above and beyond in terms of equipment/accommodations compared to other companies doing the same tours.

We booked an awesome day trip with Claire where we went on private guided tour of the Tulum ruins and snorkeled in a cenote and with turtles! We were a group of 4 adults visiting Mexico for the first time with no snorkeling experience. Claire was incredible patient and super prepared with all the gear (wetsuits too!), even brought along umbrellas which were helpful when it started to rain during the ruins. We were one of the first people entering into Tulum which allowed for us to take some awesome pictures. During the snorkeling, my mother had some issues snorkeling but Claire was patient and incredibly accommodating in assisting her so that she was able to enjoy the cenote and see turtles. She also took us to an delicious lunch at a Mayan restaurant and was super informative about the people/places we visited. Overall my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and will be looking to book our next excursion with Absolute Adventure when we return to Playa next year.

Amazing trip! So happy I had found out about Absolute Adventure by reading Trip Advisor!!! Kids age 19 and 22 (guess not kids anymore) loved the private tours and the entire experience!!! Spent two days with Claire and would highly recommend. Prior to our trip Claire answered all our questions in a timely fashion (via e-mail) and was so patient with all my questions as I tried to understand the options available. Prior to arriving, Claire was nice enough to let me know that the turtle tour would probably not be available because of the weather (the beaches were closed) and worked with me to plan an alternative trip. First to the Mayan ruins at Talum-private tour, unique delicious Mayan lunch and then the very private tour through an amazing Cenote- while snorkling - with no crowds! Second day drove to Coba ruins-private tour, bike tour, another native delicious lunch and an amazing Cenote-hike and snorkle. Although woke up very early both days, both our kids never complained because they saw the benefit of arriving early (per Claire's recommendations) and loved the adventure, beauty and unique experience. This is a must tour!

Had a great time with Chris on our recent adventure to Tulum, Cenote and turtle snorkeling trip on 11/30/2015. We were a party of 2 adults and 3 kids and had little to no snorkeling experience. Chris made us feel at ease and was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable about the area and culture. Had a wonderful lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. Before we left for Mexico we worked with Chris and Claire to set up a customized trip for our extended family of 9. We chose to snorkel with the turtles and visit two cenotes. The were very responsive and it was easy to set up. Chris and the driver, Alan picked us up at our resort at 8am. This got us to Akumal before it got crowded and we were swimming with the turtles in no time. I'm glad we got a chance to do this because it was a very unique experience. I have snorkeled in a lot of different places in the Caribbean, but never with turtles like this.

We snorkled in a bay with green turtles and Chris was wonderful, patient with our group of all levels of experience. Then on to the cenotes, which was definitely a highlight!! Crystal clear water, formations overhead and bats hunkered down or ting around!! It was awesome!! So fun and Chris added his humor, knowledge and even with some more tentative in our group he made everyone feel comfortable and safe.

I'm so glad that we were able to book this excursion last minute! We did the Tulum tour, cenote snorkel, and sea turtle snorkel trip. Claire responded very quickly to my inquiry and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. There was a mix of beginners and experienced "tourists" in our group of 5 and everyone was really impressed with our day of activities. My husband and I had previously toured Tulum with with a large group several years ago, and we were less than impressed with our previous experience- this time it was the exact opposite! With this your we were one of the first people to enter Tulum which allowed for an almost private tour, the same can be said for the cenote swim. We only encountered one other group of snorkelers the entire hour that we were in the water, IT WAS AMAZING!! After swimming in the cenote we ate a delicious lunch at a Mayan restaurant, before heading to Akumal to swim with the turtles. We were able to see several sting rays and turtles and even even a very large starfish. Overall it was a fantastic day!! I will definitely use this company again next time I'm in Playa!
