Excellent guide and driver,Arturo was very knowledgeable as well as the guides at Tulum and coba. We really enjoyed the trip and loved learning about the Mayan culture. We were looked after very well throughout the whole trip and would highly recommend absolute adventure especially when traveling with young children.

Hello, had a tour last week with you agency. Artouro was wonderful. Very friendly and gave us a lot of great information regarding the Tulum ruins and the culture of Mexico. Loved the cenote and the extra attention he gave to our 12 year old grandson. The lunch was great also. We did not see many turtles (only 2) but that was no one’s fault- nature played the role here. The young man who helped us in the water was wonderful and felt bad we didn’t see more.The driver was great also. Thank you for a great day. FYI- we returned to Maine USA with snow on the ground and 27 degrees. We miss Mexico already!

Juan and Pascual were nothing short of amazing. Juan was entertaining and adjusted to the family like he was a member of our unique family group. When my granddaughter was a little apprehensive about the underwater cave he led her through it while we explored on our own. She is 7 and was not bored one bit with this tour. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

My husband and I did the Coba Ruins/Monkey Reserve tour with Juan today (11/30). Juan delivered hands-down the best interpretive tour I've ever experienced. Not only did he have a wealth of knowledge on the Mayan history in both the Reserve and Coba, but was more than happy and able to answer any and all questions about Mexican culture, politics, etc.

My husband and I did the Coba Ruins/Monkey Reserve tour with Juan today (11/30). Juan delivered hands-down the best interpretive tour I've ever experienced. We went on 2 separate tours with this company and absolutely loved it. My mother and I were very well taken care of, the drivers were friendly and helpful and our guide for both tours, Arturo, was engaging, funny and very knowledgeable.

This is one of the best sites to go and visit in Mexico. We went on a preplannef bisit fron a cruise ship and althoughit took s while by caoch it was well worth it. We had lunch there too at a hotel sited there which wss also very nice and varied.

Our tour guide was excellent. He came to the pier to pick us up and took us in a private van to the Tulum Ruins. Along the way, he was very informative about the local culture. At the ruins, he voluntarily took photos of us. The photos turned out GREAT and didn't cost anything extra!! The admission to the ruins was included in the price of the tour. We were also supposed to swim in a cenote, which we were all excited about, but it turned out we didn't have enough time. That wasn't our tour guide's fault at all. We took this tour as an excursion off the cruise ship, which docked at Cozumel. As it turns out, there is a ferry to Playa Del Carmen at 9am local time and a return ferry at 1pm and 5pm. We didn't know about the time difference between "ship time" and local time, so it turned out that our ship was docked from 7am to 3pm local time. That meant we had to take the 1pm ferry back. So we only had from 9:30am-12:30pm in Playa Del Carmen, which is hardly enough time to enjoy the ruins, let alone anything else, since the ruins is about an hour drive each way.

Manuel and our driver, Carlos, we both so nice and friendly the entire day. Manuel highly trained and very knowledgeable and just plain nice! We were able to make a last minute change in which cenotes that we wanted to see that day. Note that our tour included one, but we were permitted to add a 2nd cenote for a nominal charge. I would highly recommend this tour company- I actually chose it based on TripAdvisor reviews- so thanks! A+++

My family and I had an amazing experience with Chris, on the Snorkeling tour with Whale Sharks. It was a life changing experience, and Chris did the most amazing job. He was so nice getting everything set up before the trip, and he was by far the best guide out there. He cared more about us than the other guide on the boat did about his group. He brings a camera with him and he takes the most amazing pictures to document your whole snorkeling experience. We will definitely be coming back and using absolute adventure again! Thank you so much Chris!

Chris was outstanding in putting together a well priced trip for my brother and I to visit the Dos Ojos cenote. My brother is certified and I am not, but he was able to accommodate an excursion for both of us.

We live in Australia and wanted to swim with the whale sharks whilst in Mexico, it was our third trip and the first for our friends we were with. I did a lot of research online to find the best company as we figured it was a "do it once" activity. I sent out several emails to ask for prices, Chris was the first to respond within a few hours with a personalised email explaining what he could offer. His prices were a lot better than other companies and his communication was excellent from the time of booking until we have arrived home.

A group of friends and I visited from the U.S. and we had such a great time on this tour. It really was the highlight of our vacation. Swimming with the turtles was really magical and Cenotes was nothing short of AMAZING! If you are choosing between Cenotes and the Turtles, I would highly recommend snorkeling alongside the turtles, they were definitely my favorite part. With that said, Cenotes felt like an underground world. It was really enchanting and not to be missed.

Our private snorkeling tour with Chris was amazing! He took us to snorkel with the sea tutles and then in a georgeous centote. I have mild Cerebral Palsy and though I can do most things, I was hesitant to go on a large, impersonal snorkeling tour. Chris took special care of me by helping me into and out of the water and taking it slow with me. My mother and I had a fantasic experience! The icing on the cake is the incredible underwater photos that Chris took of us. The quality of the pictures is outstanding! Don't go on a hotel tour!!!! Go on a personal, individual adventure with Chris! And the price was a bargain!

Me and 11 of the guests from my wedding recently had an all day adventure with Chris and Marlon (I'm not sure if I'm spelling that correctly) and everything was awesome! The day started with Marlon and Chris picking us up from our hotel and driving us in a private shuttle to Tulum (the private shuttle was awesome, I had booked a couple of other excursions through my hotel and had to make several stops to pick up and drop off others along the way - no fun). They guided us through Tulum and told us all about the history of the Mayans that lived there. They were very knowledgable and answered all of our questions. After Tulum, we visited a dry cave, and a cenote, which were both absolutely breathtaking! Chris took us through the tunnels of the cenote and it was gorgeous. Such a personalized experience! After the cenote, we stopped for lunch at an authentic local Mexican restaurant and the food was incredible. Best guacamole I've ever had!! It was included in our price for the trip too, which was really nice. Our final stop of the day was at a beach to snorkel with sea turtles, and again it was a blast.

We were in Cancun for a wedding and booked an all day tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico and it was amazing! All the guides and the bus driver were extremely friendly, outgoing, and fun to be around. We became one big group and it was almost like we had been friends forever! The guides were extremely knowledgeable of the ruins, the cenotes, snorkeling, seas turtles, etc. Not only did we have an amazing experience, but we learned a lot throughout the entire day. Mario, one of the guides actually stopped the bus, and let us get out at a small taco stand on the side of the road. We didn't have any Pesos on us and he offered to buy us our tacos!

A couple weeks ago we signed up for a private group tour - there were about 12 of us. The tour guides (Chris and Marlon) picked us up at our resort right on time. They were kind enough to let us stop off at a store to pick up some water, beer and snacks (they also provided all of this, but we drink and eat a lot) 🙂 First we traveled to Tulum and Marlon gave us an excellent tour of the ruins. Marlon easily answered all of our questions and then some! Chris was taking photos of the ruins and our group the whole time. After Tulum we traveled to a dry cave to explore and a cenote to snorkel. All of the snorkeling equipment was provided for us and was very clean. Chris also took us on a short tour through the cenote which was amazing! After the cenote, we packed up and headed out for lunch at a local restaurant. The food was amazing and the restaurant crew was extremely hospitable. Holy guacamole! Then we headed down to the ocean for some snorkeling with giant sea turtles. We were a little late to the ocean snorkeling spot (our group's own fault, we were having a lot of fun at the restaurant!) but Chris worked out a deal so we could stay a little later. Chris knew exactly where to go to find a bunch of sea turtles. This was probably my favorite part of the tour - Chris took so many underwater photos of our group and the turtles! We have so many great pictures to show our friends and family. Overall, I would totally recommend this company and would go back again! The tour guides were extremely professional and very, very fun to hang out with for the day!

A group of 12 of us did a full-day journey with a couple of the guides. They picked us up at our resort promptly and took us to the Mayan ruins in Tulum. After a nice trip there and a great lunch at a local, authentic place, we explored a cavern and snorkled around the water inside, which was thrilling. Both guides were really great and supplied all the gear. Afterwards, we snorkled just off the beach with giant sea turtles. The guides knew right where to find them and let us explore on our own. They took amazing pictures, too. All around, I highly recommend these guys. We had an amazing, long day!

This tour was amazing! Chris, the owner of the company, was very easy to stay in contact with ahead of time via email, giving me a great price and discussing exactly what we wanted to do on our excursion. He and Marlon were our tour guides on the day of the excursion, both very professional but super fun and friendly as well. We started the trip at the Mayan Ruins in Tulum, which were beautiful. We then went to a dry cave for a tour and then snorkeled in a cenote. The cenote was amazing, swimming through all the stalactites and stalagmites was something I'd never experienced before. We then had a delicious meal at a local restaurant, all included in the excursion package. Chris even gave my sister some chocolates as a gift, since we were in Mexico for her wedding. I thought that was a nice personal touch. We then went to Akumal beach to snorkel with the sea turtles, which was my favorite part. Chris had an amazing underwater camera, which he took unbelievable pictures with of us all snorkeling right by the turtles. All of these pictures came included in the price of the excursion, no secret add ons at the end. This was unbelievable to me, as it was unexpected, and he took pictures of us that we never would have had otherwise. We ended up being out on the excursion for 10 hours, and only each paid $105. It definitely was worth every penny. If I ever go back to this area of Mexico, I will definitely be using Chris for another excursion.

Although there are many tour options in Mexico and Playa del Carmen, I cannot imagine a better or more personal experience than what Chris provided. Me and my wife were picked up from our hotel and had a private tour of the ruins of Tulum, snorkeling in the Cenotes and swimming with sea turtles. It was one of the greatest experiences we have ever had on vacation. Not only does Chris provide a lot of information but he makes the whole experience comfortable and welcoming. Simply put if you are in the Playa del Carmen area Chris' tour is a must!!! Well worth the price of admission of more reasonable compared to other available tours. A+++=

Me and my wife did the all day tour to Tulum with snorkeling in a cenote then finishing with snorkeling with sea turtles. We stopped half way through at a terrific burrito place. Best Burritos ever BTW!

Our little Family (my mother 70 yrs, boyfriend 30 yrs and myself 27 yrs) went to playa in jan 2014. We luckily bumped into Cyril and absolute adventure through Our hotel for Our first adventure. Throughout Our stay we used Cyril for all Our tours. He has a reasonable price (much lower than the charter Company we travelled with), he offers exclusive/private tours so you don't have to wait for a Whole bunch of People, he organises pick up and drop off at the hotel, and he brings snacks/drinks and guides you to the best local Places to eat:) His English is great, and he can also take Your Pictures (professionally) while you do what you do:) The Pictures were really good by the way.

Fabulous half day excursion to Tulum and Cenote!This was the perfect way to see the ruins and visit a cenote in a half day. Our guide, Dulce, did a great job explaining while keeping us moving along at a good pace. She gave us three options for the cenote and we ended with a delicious lunch. A perfect way to see some Tulum highlights if you have limited time.
