I am simply amazed with the work ethic and passion of the people of Absolute Adventures. Macel and Claire made sure we had a trip of a lifetime to Tulum and pet cemetery cenote. It was a private tour for 8 adults and a one year old. We loved it because they took the time to answer all our questions and give us a detailed explanation about everything we were seeing. We never felt rushed and we missed all the crowds which of course added to the experience. I recommend Absolute Adventures Mexico for all the Riviera Maya tours.

My family and I went to Chichen Itza and a cenote. Our guide made sure everything was ok. He shared his culture and knowledge about the ruins. I would recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico to anyone looking for a private tour in the area of Cancun, your won't regret it!

During our short trip to Playa del Carmen we wanted to make the most of our time in Mexico. We opted to take a tour of the Tulum ruins and cenotes. Claire was extremely knowledgeable and informative of the ruins and we were one of the first visitors at the place. We literally had the whole place to ourselves which made the tour that much more memorable plus our photos turned out amazing. Once leaving the ruins we saw so many people walking towards the main entrance that we were so happy we did not have to deal with the crowds. When we did the cenotes Claire was extremely helpful and patient with my mother assisting her as we navigated through the cenotes. Thank you for a day to remember.

Our guide Arturo was very knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and history. It was a long day but we visited the city of Valladolid, had a excellent lunch and we stopped at 2 cenotes where we could swim. Totally worth it!

Chichen Itza was absolutely amazing. Early morning pick up was the best choice we skipped all lines and crowds of people. We had a delicious lunch in a local mexican restaurant, it was perfect!

Booked Coba and turtle snorkel trip with Claire. Our 7 and 12 year old children enjoyed seeing the mayan ruins for the first time. Due to the weather we did the cenote snorkel tour instead of turtle snorkel tour. I would recommend the cenote snorkel tour. It is like another world. My 7 year old daughter was a little scared and Claire was really good with her. Thanks for a great experience.

I arranged everything on line before leaving. We had our trip, for 8, customized to suit our needs. We booked trip to Cancun, Chichen Itza & Coba, also transportation from Playa Del Carmen. Claire, native of France, was very responsive and accompanied us on the ruins trip. Driver Alan, a Mexican young fellow, great driving and personality. I have no hesitation in using them again!

We booked the Tulum, Cenote and Turtle swim tour with this company based on Tripadvisor recommendations, so thanks to those who took time to write up their experiences. Claire was very responsive with all our questions prior to the tour, which is important when you are spending a lot of money and want it to be a special day.

I must start out by saying how responsive Absolute Adventure Mexico were will all of my many questions...I was trying to plan an trip for my family with teenagers. Claire responded back to me by end of each day and helped me to plan a most memorable day for my family. We decided on Tulum, cenote snorkel and Akumal Bay snorkel with sea turtles. It was a major success with BOTH teenagers! She had day planned so that we were at Tulum before it was croweded and hot...then to cool off in the cenote. She had brought wetsuits for us all to wear so that we didn't get too cold! We stopped and had some fantastic lunch at a local place and then off to see the turtles. We probably saw at least a dozen sea turtles and many different fish. Clair shared MUCH knowledge about each of the different stops and sites. It couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you Claire & Absolute Adventure Mexico! We'll be back and giving you a call soon!

After reading the consistently glowing reviews for Absolute Adventure on TA, we chose to book the full day Tulum, turtles and cenote tour. We booked directly via email with Claire and opted to pay in advance via PayPal. Claire was responsive on email and made the booking process very easy.

I was in Mexico with five friends recently and one of them booked us an excursion with Absolute Adventure Mexico that was just a perfect day. Claire was our guide and our day was spent exploring the ruins at Tulum, snorkeling in a cenote, and then snorkeling with sea turtles at Akumel Beach.

We had a four person private tour and it was just what we were looking for. We went early in the morning to Akumal to snorkel with the sea turtles and got their before the crowd which we all appreciate. Then we had an amazing time in a cenote snorkeling around. It was quiet and informative. Thank you very much for the wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this company!

Today we completed our amazing private tour. We had snorkeling stops at sea turtles and cenote followed by an amazing lunch and then a private tour of the Maya ruins at Tulum. Our guide Claire was very knowledgeable and knew when and what time was the best to avoid the crowds at each stop. Juan Carlos was always there to pick us up so we never had to stand in the hot sun like other tours. We always had fresh cold drinks when we got into the van. We would highly recommend Absolute Adventured and would call them again next time we are in Playa Del Carmen. Make sure you book ahead of time as we are not the only ones who enjoyed this company as they book up fast!

She- My boyfriend and I and another couple went Snorkeling with Sea Turtles and visited Tulum on the private tour with Chris and it was nothing short of amazing and fun! Hands down if we ever go on an adventure again, either in Mexico or any other place a private tour is the way to go and I have this experience to thank. They go above and beyond at meeting the needs of the clients and thinking of everything, such as a quick shower after the snorkeling. The visit to Tulum was equally exciting. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the ancient Mayan ruins and again, in a small, private group it makes it that much better! After, we had the most amazing fish tacos at a very unassuming location but it was by far my best meal in Mexico! Get the coconut ones you will not be disappointed! If/when we go to Playa Del Carmen again I would absolutely book another tour with them it was a great experience!

My friends and I booked absolute adventures for 3 days after reading all the great reviews! I Initially emailed and Claire and she was quick to respond answering all my questions and gave me a detailed response of all the tours they offered. I gave her a list of things my friends and I wanted to do and how much time we had. She took care of everything else and gave me suggestions to other things. We really wanted to do the whale shark tour, but whale shark season barely started when we arrived. She stayed flexible and gave us time to think about what we wanted to do in replacement of the whale sharks.

The highlight of our trip was our excursion with Absolute Adventure. We chose the turtle and cenote swim with the Tulum tour. Claire and her crew showed up early for our tour and it was everything we wanted and more. We got to see tons of turtles on our turtle swim in Akumal Bay along with stingrays and tons of cool fish. We aren't the strongest swimmers and have never snorkeled before but Claire was super patient with us and gave us a quick lesson so that we could enjoy ourselves and see everything we wanted to see. Next we were off to our cenote swim which was amazing. AAM provides all of your equipment and having a wet suit to explore the cenote kept us warm and made the experience much more enjoyable. Also during the the experience Claire gave us fun factoids and info that kept the tour interesting. After our cenote swim we had lunch in the jungle then off to Tulum. We had a tour guide who was super informative and answered all of our questions and we even spent some time on the amazing beach. Overall this was the best part of our trip and AAM delivered on every aspect. We wanted a private tour for just the two of us and we got exactly that. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. We will definitely book another adventure with AAM on our next trip to the area.

I can not thank Clair enough for this wonderful tour. She picked us up from our hotel and we began in Akumal to swim with the turtles. My mom, 69, is not very comfortable in the water but with Claire's assistance and calm demeanor my mom was able to enjoy this excursion. It was amazing watching the turtles in their environment. After that, we went to a Cenote where we enjoyed swimming in the caves. Again, Clair took into account our skill level and made us feel very comfortable and confident. I worried about my mom getting in and out of the water and claustrophobic issues. This was all very manageable for her and still enough adventure and authenticity to keep me completely enthralled. We finished up with a wonderful meal prepared by a Mayan lady in the jungle.

We went on the swimming with the turtles tour and to the underground Cenote in the jungle. We have nothing but good things to say about our tour with Claire. I loved that it was a private tour. The cenote we went to was a wonderful peaceful experience that put you into a different world! And swimming with the turtles is self explanatory, also incredible. I really appreciated how they based the tour around beating the crowds in those popular places and also respecting the environment we were visiting. Overall would use this company again in a heartbeat! Thank you Claire!

What an interesting city so many shops, restaurants and bars right next to the most beautiful beach/water that you will ever see.Wow,what an experience it is truly a must see when you go to this part of Mexico!!

My husband and I have done countless excursions over the years. We've seen it all. And the one thing we've learned is that it doesn't matter how beautiful a place is or how fun an activity can be if your guides are somehow no good or if you're stuck in a huge herd of people. Chris and Claire figured that out too. By only taking out your group, they can tailor the day to suit your wants and needs.

Thanks a lot Manuel (and Claire) for the most perfect tours. We did the combination of Tulum and cenote Pet Cemetery. As we were so thrilled by the wonderful experience we decided to book another Tour to Coba and Cenotes. We weren't disappointed, the second tour was also wonderful.

We did the Tulum, cenote, and turtle snorkeling tour for 2 and it was great! Manuel was our guide and he was extremely friendly and knowledgable. You could tell he really enjoyed what he was doing. Alan was our driver and he had fantastic music playing in the van all day. Manuel and Alan were a very fun team. We speak a little Spanish and they encouraged us to keep trying more phrases, which was also really fun. All of the places they took us were well worth the money. The cenote was not one that you would be able to go to by yourself so it was good to have a tour guide. The sea turtles were an unforgettable experience. They took us out really early so no one else was around and we had the area all to ourselves. It was prefect. Highly recommended.

Our day with Manuel and Allen was the highlight of our trip to Mexico! Working with Claire prior to the trip was seamless and her responses via email were very prompt. We started our day off at 0700 with our smiling guides picking us(two adults and two kids 7 and 11) up at our resort. We were safely and efficiently transported to Tulum and arrived before it became very busy. The local guide was informative and the beach there was incredible. At our own leisure, we returned to Allen and the van. (It's so nice to have a place to keep your things throughout the day) Off to our next adventure- underground cenotes! Wow! My husband and I were so amazed! Manuel was a super guide and very well qualified. (He is an EMT and a lifeguard) We felt very safe and cared for. After lunch at a nice little restaurant we headed to Akumal to snorkel with the turtles. This was the most priceless part of the day for all of us. My girls were so brave and Manuel took great care of them throughout the whole experience. Thank you both for such an amazing day! We look forward to seeing you again. Good to know, they do not take credit cards (my only complaint).

We were just in Playa del Carmen so I could do my scuba certification and had Claire as my instructor. She was fabulous!! She was patient and thorough and very kind. She is a great teacher!

We booked a private tour for four adults with Absolute Adventure based on reviews from Trip Advisor. Let me say that was the best decision we have ever made. Our tour was booked in advance of our trip. When we arrived in Riviera Maya, Claire, one of the partners, was very kind in e-mailing a warm and friendly welcome and confirmed the date and time of pick up at the resort.

My family traveled with Chris on tour of two cenotes. The tour was excellent! I have been on several excursions over the past decade and this was the most personal. Everything was so easy with this company. Claire was great to communicate with setting up a tour that met the needs of my family. They were able to accommodate our three kids (ages: 14, 12, and 4). There are not many companies that are willing to take a 4 year old on an excursion.

We had the best time on this tour. Manuel was our tour guide and Alan was our driver. They were fantastic!! A private tour is the way to go. Especially with this company. We were nervous about leaving the resort because everyone tells you not to, and now we feel so silly about the whole thing. Manuel took us snorkeling with the sea turtles. He took us around the reefs of Akumal and we were able to see green sea turtles, barracudas, stingrays, squid, and all sorts of fish. He helped us get the best pictures!! He made sure we had a good one of the turtles coming up for air right in front of us. My boyfriend used all of our pictures in the first 10 minutes and he let us go back to the van and get our other camera, to make sure we got what we wanted. He made sure to tell us there is no rush and that this adventure was all about us. Then they took us to the pet cemetery cenote near by. It was amazing. It was not crowded like I have heard other cenotes can be. If you got to the Yucatan peninsula, this is something you must do, especially with this private tour. Manuel took the time to take us all over the cenote. Time was never an issue. It was relaxing and exciting all at the same time. So many beautiful stalagmites and sites to see. The cool fresh water did wonders for my sunburn. Manuel told us much of the history Between the Mayans and the cenotes. My camera fell off my wrist and floated away at the end, and he went back through and grabbed it for me!! We ate lunch at a family-owned Mayan restaurant with the best empanadas you will ever eat! He knew all of the locals and was obviously very well respected. We felt very safe with him. Excellent service, excellent trip. We are coming back and we will not use any other tour company, but this one. Absolute Adventure Mexico gives you so much of an experience, for what I thought was a small price compared to the memories me and my boyfriend can now share. I recommend this to everyone. You will not feel afraid to leave the resort with these great guides. Do it! Take a chance! Experience the culture of the wonderful hospitable people of Playa Del Carmen!

We just spent two days with Claire diving Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. Claire helped us with getting open water certified. She was patient helpful and made the experience wonderful. Anyone looking for a great dive guide or Instructor I would highly recommend Absolute Adventure

Honestly, all I can say that a private tour is so worth it! Highly recommend private tours with Claire and Manuel. Worth every penny. You get the one on one attention and you don’t deal with strangers in your tour, you are comfortable and they go at your speed not by time. Our first (original) tour consisted of Chichen Itza + Valladolid + Coba. Our guide, Claire, was awesome. Not only did she hire the perfect guide for the Chichen but she also added more information that she knew. She made sure we had all the details and background info on the areas we visited. She even climb the pyramid at Coba with us. We were so impress with her that we booked a last minute tour with her on the same trip. We decided to do Tulum/Snorkeling in cenotes and with turtles. This time Manuel was our guide. Perfect for this as well. I am a big chicken to be in the sea & he made sure I was comfortable. Not only did he show us a good time but went out of his way to take pictures & videos for us. We have the perfect background on pictures of me & my husband because of him. We can’t thank both of them enough for the awesome experience and memories. They are now helping us plan tours for this summer with our kids (5 to be exact).

We chose this small adventure and touring company based on great Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. From our first email Claire was prompt and enthusiastic in suggesting a custom group of activities just for us, who are 3 adults who have been to Mexico several times. It was perfect! From pickup in a spacious van at our hotel to background history along the way, we felt so much more relaxed being able to get to the ruins, in our case Coba, before all the crowds. We loved the tourguide Claire arranged there to give us a real idea of how it was when the Mayans lived there. Climbing the temple was awesome w/Claire right there to encourage us. The 2 cenotes we visited afterwards were just spectacular! Less visited and so more serene and personal an experience, so in contrast to last year's group tour w/hoards of people. Casa Cenote and the incredible underground cave Cenote, Pet Cemetery, are not to be missed! Claire provided us with very good life vests and snorkel gear so our extensive tour of these cenotes was very safe and effortless. Can't say enough that about Claire as a guide and companion for a long day, one that included a delicious lunch in the jungle my chef son thought the best of our trip and we stayed at a 5 star resort. We very enthusiastically recommend Absolute Adventures Playa Del Carmen and can't wait to use them next time we come. We also found this custom and personalized tour far preferable to the group tours the hotel had recommended in years past and nearly the same price. You will be very happy using this special company!

From our first contact with Absolute Adventure everything was great. Claire was very good at answering all my questions. This was not our first tour experience in Mexico, and Absolute Adventure is one of the best we have used, and I will use them again when we go back.
