My husband and I booked Absolute Adventure to take a tour of Chichen Itza and swim in cenotes with a stop in Valladolid for lunch. The day of the tour was absolutely wonderful. Our guide for the day was Arturo and he couldn't have been better. He was extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and made the day smooth and fun. He also took great pictures for us! Our driver was also wonderful and very nice. Absolute Adventure provided a tour guide at Chichen Itza who did an excellent job and made the visit very thorough and informative. It was so worth getting there early before the heat and crowds! We got wonderful pictures with no one in the background and were able to leave before it go too hot. Throughout the day, we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy all aspects of the tour, including a delicious lunch. We would HIGHLY recommend Absolute Adventure and will use them again on future trips.

Took a private ATV, Zip Line, and Cenote tour with my wife and 17 year old son. Claire was great and promptly answered the numerous emails I kept sending her. Transportation showed up exactly on team and quickly got us out to Boca del Puma where the tour was. Since there were only three of us we didn't have to wait for anything and did all of our activities at our own pace. Marcel, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area's history and the local flora & fauna. Answered all our questions including the one about certain tree that we've been asking since we arrived and NO ONE else had been able to answer.

We took a private snorkeling tour to Puerto Morelos with Marcel as our guide and couldn't be happier. We had taken group tours in the past and really appreciated the convenience and customization of taking a private tour. Absolute Adventure was so accommodating, responsive, flexible, and great with communication via email which is a plus when in a foreign country. The guide, Marcel, was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and professional. He catered to our requests and was pleasant to hang out with. He also spoke great English which is a plus! The reef was beautiful and afterwards we had a delicious authentic Mexican dinner of fresh caught seafood (we even got to pick out the fish) which was delicious. Our friends also took a tour with Claire to Coba and Cenote snorkeling the prior day and were so impressed they recommended we book another tour asap. I will definitely seek out more excursions with Absolute Adventures next time we're in Mexico!

We had never done a private tour therefore I was a touch apprehensive on the day we went 25th July, well what was I worried about! My partner, 2 teenage girls and I knew as soon as we met Claire that this was going to be a good day and one of those to remember. We went for the Coba and Pet Cemetery Cenote visit (with lunch deep in the Mayan jungle). We climbed the Coba pyramid and Claire did to, which I thought was a nice touch - we all high 5'd each other at the end, I was impressed with that because it meant Claire was enjoying this trip just as much as we were. The Cenote was simply amazing, few beers after and off we went back to the hotel. All in all around an 8 hour trip, pick up at 06:30 which meant we missed the crowds and back to the hotel for 14:30 with plenty of time to catch those rays.

Claire was wonderfully responsive and helpful in assisting me with coordinating multiple rides and tours. Our tour guide, Marcel, was very friendly and pleasant and took good care of us all day...including lunch. I highly reccomend using Absolute for your vacation needs!

Prior to going to Playa I reached out to Chris here and she gave me a very good feeling I would be having a good time with her tour company. I decided to try it and it was very nice. My daughters 20 & 22 had a blast. We did the buggy's, Zip Line and Cenote. I believe your only as good and the people that you hire to work for you. Marcel was our guide and he and the driver were great. While others were just hanging out on the ride to the tour spot Boca Del Puma I was speaking with Marcel. He's very smart and knows a lot about the area so for me it was a tour and an education because I learned so much speaking with him.I highly recommend this tour company and ask for him to be your guide.Lastly our tour guide at Boca was Sra and he was also great and informative. Just do it book with them. Lastly a good tip is the best sign that you had a good time

The Tulum+snorkelling tour was definitely the best part of our 4 day trip. Having a private tour meant we didn't have to spend time waiting for other people, and did everything at our own pace. Claire, our tour guide, was very knowledgable about the Mayan ruins and history, and also very attentive during the snorkelling portion to make sure we were having a good time. I highly, highly, highly recommend Absolute Adventure! I will definitely book them again the next time I visit the Riviera Maya!

We are so happy we booked our excursion through Absolute Adventure. We started the day being picked up at 7:30. While that is early, it is because our guide wanted to ensure that we avoided the lines and crowds. We had a wonderful guide at the ruins and as we were leaving HUNDREDS of people were coming in with the BIG tour buses. Our tour was private but also less expensive than the bigger companies. The tour of the cenotes was fantastic. Becuase it was private, we moved at our own pace, saw everything we wanted to see and asked questions. Our guide was Marcel and he was very knowledgable. He did a great job! It was a perfect day.

We had such a wonderful time. This is the first time we did a private tour and it was so worth it. We did the cenotes one day and the the snorkeling with turtles the next. Because we got to the cenote so early we had it all to ourselves. It was like our own little oasis. Also, Chris and Claire were so knowledgeable and fun. They went out of their way to show us a fun time - Claire even took us to her favorite taco restaurant after the second excursion because she had heard from Chris how we were dying for some truly authentic Mexican food. We had three kids with us ages 4,5, and 6 and they were very accommodating of their ages and we felt very safe in their hands. The littles were even able to zipline over the cenote! We can't wait to go back and book with them again. It was hands down the best excursion we have been on.

If you're looking for a great experience book an excursion with these guys. We went to Tulum and Cenote and it was fantastic. When we go back to Mexico we will be using them exclusively. Marcel and Claire were awesome!!

Our extended family of seven had an unforgettable private tour with an extremely knowledgeable guide, Chris and excellent driver Allan. We spent a full day exploring Chichen Itza. We highly recommend this private tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico.

Us: two late 30s parents and our 11 (nearly 12) year old son. This was our first land vacation in Mexico, though we have stopped in Costa Maya and Cozumel on cruises before. We've visited the ruins at Chachoban near Costa Maya as well as Lamanai in Belize. We like to use local tour companies that provide small group tours.

The guides set up nice transportation ,personally picked us up at hotel and stayed with us throughout 2 days and 2 separate outings until we were back at hotel. Everyone was on time and Claire and Chris both both spoke perfect English and Spanish. I will be calling them again next time I'm in playa -cancun area

I am simply amazed with the work ethic and passion of the people of Absolute Adventures. Macel and Claire made sure we had a trip of a lifetime to Tulum and pet cemetery cenote. It was a private tour for 8 adults and a one year old. We loved it because they took the time to answer all our questions and give us a detailed explanation about everything we were seeing. We never felt rushed and we missed all the crowds which of course added to the experience. I recommend Absolute Adventures Mexico for all the Riviera Maya tours.

My family and I went to Chichen Itza and a cenote. Our guide made sure everything was ok. He shared his culture and knowledge about the ruins. I would recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico to anyone looking for a private tour in the area of Cancun, your won't regret it!

During our short trip to Playa del Carmen we wanted to make the most of our time in Mexico. We opted to take a tour of the Tulum ruins and cenotes. Claire was extremely knowledgeable and informative of the ruins and we were one of the first visitors at the place. We literally had the whole place to ourselves which made the tour that much more memorable plus our photos turned out amazing. Once leaving the ruins we saw so many people walking towards the main entrance that we were so happy we did not have to deal with the crowds. When we did the cenotes Claire was extremely helpful and patient with my mother assisting her as we navigated through the cenotes. Thank you for a day to remember.

Our guide Arturo was very knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and history. It was a long day but we visited the city of Valladolid, had a excellent lunch and we stopped at 2 cenotes where we could swim. Totally worth it!

Chichen Itza was absolutely amazing. Early morning pick up was the best choice we skipped all lines and crowds of people. We had a delicious lunch in a local mexican restaurant, it was perfect!

Booked Coba and turtle snorkel trip with Claire. Our 7 and 12 year old children enjoyed seeing the mayan ruins for the first time. Due to the weather we did the cenote snorkel tour instead of turtle snorkel tour. I would recommend the cenote snorkel tour. It is like another world. My 7 year old daughter was a little scared and Claire was really good with her. Thanks for a great experience.

I arranged everything on line before leaving. We had our trip, for 8, customized to suit our needs. We booked trip to Cancun, Chichen Itza & Coba, also transportation from Playa Del Carmen. Claire, native of France, was very responsive and accompanied us on the ruins trip. Driver Alan, a Mexican young fellow, great driving and personality. I have no hesitation in using them again!

Claire was very responsive with all our questions prior to the tour, which is important when you are spending a lot of money and want it to be a special day.

I must start out by saying how responsive Absolute Adventure Mexico were will all of my many questions...I was trying to plan an trip for my family with teenagers. Claire responded back to me by end of each day and helped me to plan a most memorable day for my family. We decided on Tulum, cenote snorkel and Akumal Bay snorkel with sea turtles. It was a major success with BOTH teenagers! She had day planned so that we were at Tulum before it was croweded and hot...then to cool off in the cenote. She had brought wetsuits for us all to wear so that we didn't get too cold! We stopped and had some fantastic lunch at a local place and then off to see the turtles. We probably saw at least a dozen sea turtles and many different fish. Clair shared MUCH knowledge about each of the different stops and sites. It couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you Claire & Absolute Adventure Mexico! We'll be back and giving you a call soon!

After reading the consistently glowing reviews for Absolute Adventure on TA, we chose to book the full day Tulum, turtles and cenote tour. We booked directly via email with Claire and opted to pay in advance via PayPal. Claire was responsive on email and made the booking process very easy.

I was in Mexico with five friends recently and one of them booked us an excursion with Absolute Adventure Mexico that was just a perfect day. Claire was our guide and our day was spent exploring the ruins at Tulum, snorkeling in a cenote, and then snorkeling with sea turtles at Akumel Beach.

We had a four person private tour and it was just what we were looking for. We went early in the morning to Akumal to snorkel with the sea turtles and got their before the crowd which we all appreciate. Then we had an amazing time in a cenote snorkeling around. It was quiet and informative. Thank you very much for the wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this company!

Today we completed our amazing private tour. We had snorkeling stops at sea turtles and cenote followed by an amazing lunch and then a private tour of the Maya ruins at Tulum. Our guide Claire was very knowledgeable and knew when and what time was the best to avoid the crowds at each stop. Juan Carlos was always there to pick us up so we never had to stand in the hot sun like other tours. We always had fresh cold drinks when we got into the van. We would highly recommend Absolute Adventured and would call them again next time we are in Playa Del Carmen. Make sure you book ahead of time as we are not the only ones who enjoyed this company as they book up fast!

She- My boyfriend and I and another couple went Snorkeling with Sea Turtles and visited Tulum on the private tour with Chris and it was nothing short of amazing and fun! Hands down if we ever go on an adventure again, either in Mexico or any other place a private tour is the way to go and I have this experience to thank. They go above and beyond at meeting the needs of the clients and thinking of everything, such as a quick shower after the snorkeling. The visit to Tulum was equally exciting. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the ancient Mayan ruins and again, in a small, private group it makes it that much better! After, we had the most amazing fish tacos at a very unassuming location but it was by far my best meal in Mexico! Get the coconut ones you will not be disappointed! If/when we go to Playa Del Carmen again I would absolutely book another tour with them it was a great experience!

My friends and I booked absolute adventures for 3 days after reading all the great reviews! I Initially emailed and Claire and she was quick to respond answering all my questions and gave me a detailed response of all the tours they offered. I gave her a list of things my friends and I wanted to do and how much time we had. She took care of everything else and gave me suggestions to other things. We really wanted to do the whale shark tour, but whale shark season barely started when we arrived. She stayed flexible and gave us time to think about what we wanted to do in replacement of the whale sharks.

The highlight of our trip was our excursion with Absolute Adventure. We chose the turtle and cenote swim with the Tulum tour. Claire and her crew showed up early for our tour and it was everything we wanted and more. We got to see tons of turtles on our turtle swim in Akumal Bay along with stingrays and tons of cool fish. We aren't the strongest swimmers and have never snorkeled before but Claire was super patient with us and gave us a quick lesson so that we could enjoy ourselves and see everything we wanted to see. Next we were off to our cenote swim which was amazing. AAM provides all of your equipment and having a wet suit to explore the cenote kept us warm and made the experience much more enjoyable. Also during the the experience Claire gave us fun factoids and info that kept the tour interesting. After our cenote swim we had lunch in the jungle then off to Tulum. We had a tour guide who was super informative and answered all of our questions and we even spent some time on the amazing beach. Overall this was the best part of our trip and AAM delivered on every aspect. We wanted a private tour for just the two of us and we got exactly that. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. We will definitely book another adventure with AAM on our next trip to the area.

I can not thank Clair enough for this wonderful tour. She picked us up from our hotel and we began in Akumal to swim with the turtles. My mom, 69, is not very comfortable in the water but with Claire's assistance and calm demeanor my mom was able to enjoy this excursion. It was amazing watching the turtles in their environment. After that, we went to a Cenote where we enjoyed swimming in the caves. Again, Clair took into account our skill level and made us feel very comfortable and confident. I worried about my mom getting in and out of the water and claustrophobic issues. This was all very manageable for her and still enough adventure and authenticity to keep me completely enthralled. We finished up with a wonderful meal prepared by a Mayan lady in the jungle.

We went on the swimming with the turtles tour and to the underground Cenote in the jungle. We have nothing but good things to say about our tour with Claire. I loved that it was a private tour. The cenote we went to was a wonderful peaceful experience that put you into a different world! And swimming with the turtles is self explanatory, also incredible. I really appreciated how they based the tour around beating the crowds in those popular places and also respecting the environment we were visiting. Overall would use this company again in a heartbeat! Thank you Claire!
