We had an absolutely incredible time with the wonderful people at Absolute Adventure Mexico during our personal guided tours of the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Coba, and Tulum, as well as a great morning of snorkeling in Yal Ku lagoon. Claire was incredibly knowledgeable about all the Mayan history, and most importantly she got us into Chichen Itza before all the crowds arrived, allowing us to get a solo picture in front of the main temple. I can't express how important that was for multiple reasons(less heat, less people, more room to move around, etc). And Marcel was great as well. He pointed out all the parrot fish, the jellyfish, and the sting ray that we would have missed on our own. We made the perfect choice in selecting AAM for our Yucatan adventures, and would strongly request their services to anyone and everyone. Thank you again for a fabulous time! some day we will definitely be back for more...

We took a tour of the Tulum Ruins, snorkeled on a reef, and snorkeled in a cenote. Chris was our guide and he was amazing! He was so friendly and gave us such interesting information on the city and the history. It was a private tour and chris also took professional photos for us. They turned out amazing! We had such a great experience, and they made everything so easy! I 100% recommend booking with them. Thank you again Chris 🙂

From our first contact through the completion of our tour, everything was perfect. All of our questions were quickly responded to prior to booking and payment was easy. We went to Tulum and snorkeling in a cenote with Claire. Everything was perfect. The logistics were all seamless ... on time arrival, clean comfortable vehicle, avoiding crowds at Tulum, appropriate fitting gear for snorkeling and all of the other details which make your day easier. Claire was amazing. She has such an easy going way that naturally put everyone at ease. She was very knowledgeable about both the Mayan civilization and snorkeling through the cenote. We learned a great deal throughout the day and had a blast! The restaurant we went to for lunch was amazing, as were the restaurant recommendations Claire provided for the remainder of our trip. We will be back!

We had a group of 8 scheduled for snorkeling and cenote tour and had an outstanding experience with Marcel as our guide and Manuel as our driver. While the ocean was too choppy for snorkeling on our day, it matter little as the Sac Actun cenote made our tour magical - Marcel is a fine person and terrific guide + we all enjoyed getting to know him and the time he spent, without any rush, was super! Thank you Marcel + highest of marks for this tour!

I booked the package by emailing them and they were very prompt at responding to my messages. I had to put down a deposit through PayPal and paid the rest of it at the end of the trip. They take both USD or pesos. My friend and I booked for the ATV, Zipline, and Cenote package for $149 per person. We were picked up promptly at the arranged time in front of our hotel. Marcel and Ervin did a great job with the tour. It was just me and my roommate and we loved the privacy of the tour. They explained everything to us and made sure we were comfortable and safe. We were provided with snacks and drinks. We arrived at the Boca del Puma where we first went ATVing through the jungle. That was fun! we curved around the trail a couple of times... Bring sunglasses. We were under the shade of the trees the whole time so we didn't need that much sunglasses and not a lot of bugs. Ziplining was awesome! The whole crew was awesome and we were able to do the zip line upside down on the 6th line... I think there was a total of 7. If you are on the heavier side, you might want to check on their weight restrictions. Then we swam in 2 cenotes to finish the trip with a refreshing dip. Since it was just us... no rushing and we did everything at our own pace. We finished everything by noon and they were gracious enough to drop us off at the shopping area of Cancun so we could spend the rest of the day strolling around town. They did offer us a small burrito with snacks and a drink at the end. Nothing spectacular. I recommend this!

Personalised service and excursions. Yes it is more expensive than the excursions offered by your tour company however there is no comparison in terms of content and no time is wasted collecting people from various resorts.

A private tour by two great people Marcel and Irvin driver and guide.. who then had a Chichen Itza guide sorted for us ! This was an 81 year old Myan local who had been doing the tour for over 40 years, Angelo ..his knowledge and explanation along with a great sense of humour made the visit amazing and very interesting. Thank you to the team who looked after us superbly...

We had a group of 8 people and we really enjoyed the ATV, Zipline, Cenote adventure. The guides and everyone were very helpful and fun. I would recommend Absolute Adventure to anyone in the area.

We had a great time. Our guide arrived on time and was terrific. Very friendly and answered all our questions about the area. He also had arranged for a fill in to snorkel with us in the water as he was recovering from a cold. The guide that swam with us was great. A marine biologist she explained the reef , the fish and was very eager to share her knowledge with us. A great meal at a local restaurant right on the beach followed and then our ride back to the condo. It was great not having to take care of the details which would've been involved doing that type of trip on your own. Also the boat owner that is contracted with Absolute Adventure in the Puerto Morales area was great too. We wanted a more intimate snorkeling experience and this definitely fit the bill!! We would definitely use them again in a future visit. There are all different types of trips and areas to choose from!! Only negative is that they don't accept credit cards. They do take paypal for the deposit and you can pay in full on paypal with the service fee added on. The owners are very responsive on email requests for information and secheduling!!

We had two amazing tours with Absolute Adventure Mexico. Chris was our guide on our visit to the Tulum and Coba ruins, and Marcel our guide to Yal-ku lagoon and a cenote. All of the sites visited were amazing in and of themselves, but the breadth of knowledge of our guides and the attentiveness of the drivers really made the experience unique. Claire was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions prior to our excursions and her response time was incredible. Had we had more time in Mexico, we would have booked more trips with Absolute Adventure Mexico. I highly recommend the team at Absolute Adventure Mexico to anyone looking to explore Playa del Carmen/Riviera Maya.

My boyfriend and I were highly recommended Absolute Adventure were highly recommended Absolute Adventure by our good friends that went on the tour a few years ago. We were not disappointed! My boyfriend was apprehensive because he had gone on a large group tour a few years ago and didn't have a great time, but he absolutely loved the Tulum/Cenote/Snorkeling tour! Marcel and Ervin were super awesome and friendly and took such good care of us. The van was stocked with waters/sodas/beer, so we could kick back and relax while we were traveling. Tulum was breathtaking, and Marcel was super informative! My boyfriend's favorite part of the tour was the "Pet Cemetary" cenote, which was a surreal experience and unlike anything we've seen before. The cenote was very private, which was nice. We didn't see any other tourists there! The traditional Mayan lunch was excellent and we had a great time chatting with Marcel. This was our first time using Absolute Adventure, but we come for a week to Cancun every winter, and definitely plan on doing another tour next year!

This trip was excellent! We were able to lots of birds, including flamingos in the lagoon. Chris, our guide and Ervin, our driver were both very professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone!

We started early, beat the crowds at Tulum, continued on to Conote, had a wonderful lunch, and finished at Yal Ku to see many fish at lagoon.

I cannot say enough great things about our tour and tour guide Chris! We traveled to Mexico with a large group and had a total of 15 people that wanted to take a mayan ruin tour. I contacted absolute adventure and they responded almost immediately with options for my group. We chose a full day tour that included Tulum ruins, Coba ruins & snorkeling in Sac Actun cenote. The price quoted was more than fair (in fact, compared to other websites the group rate was much lower than some major companies like Amstar & Viator). We were picked up in 2 comfortable vans and made it to Tulum around 8AM which was amazing because there were literally about 20 people there total. I have been to Tulum before on an afternoon tour and it was so crowded that we could barely take pictures. Tulum was incredible and Chris gave our group so much knowledge. He offered to take lots of group photos for us & gave us some beach time. Once we left tulum we headed to Coba where we road bicycles through the jungle and climbed the largest mayan pyramid in the Yucatan. Again, Chris was a wealth of knowledge and he kept our group very entertained! After Coba we had lunch at an authentic open air restaurant on the way to the cenote. The food was amazing and the staff even better! Finally we headed to the cenote (all snorkel gear was included). My husband and most of the group were in awe of the cenote....they are truly amazing...my mother on the other hand had a full fledged panic attack about floating through a cave so Chris calmly held her life jacket and floated her through. At the end of the day we were chauffeured back to our hotel, we were all very exhausted and I cannot imagine renting a car and having to drive back so the escorting service was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a tour in the riviera maya/playa del carmen area!

We spent the day at Tulum, snorkeling in unique cenote, lunch at a very good restaurant in the jungle, and snorkeling with turtles. Claire was a wonderful guide - informative and accommodating. She was very patient with my 11 year old who was worried about the cenote -- she coaxed him into the water and by the end he was raving about the experience. When traveling to an unfamiliar place, having a guide you can trust is a must. Can't recommend Absolute Adventure enough!

Claire picked us up at our resort the first day for an extra fee, because we stayed outside of Playa del Carman. It was nice to not have to figure out transport ourselves. We were treated like guests. Our package included Ferry to Cozumel, dive boat, private guide, lunch, and gear. We dove the Santa Rosa Wall. Claire was a master at avoiding crowds,and showing us the best of the best. We were able to log two 1+ hour dives that day. The second day Marcelin picked us up, and took us to Dos Ojos Cenote where we again avoided the crowds, and had two fabulous dives. Marcelin is a wealth of information. The drive out was almost a lesson in cave/cavern diving. The conversation was almost as enjoyable as the diving. As we left the dive area close to 100 divers/snorklers were beginning to descend on the dive site. Marcelin timed our dives beautifully. We only saw two other groups of divers while we were under water. After our dives we went to a nice local Mexican restaurant, which was paid for by Absolute Adventure, and ate a very leisurely lunch. Again the conversation with Marcelin was a very enjoyable part.

I cannot tell you how thrilled we were with our excursion through this company. We chose to visit the Tulum Ruins, snorkel in a Cenote named Pet Cemetary, and eat at a Mayan restaurant in the jungle. We went as a small group of four (my boyfriend, his son, his son's friend, and myself).

Our request to ABSOLUTE was that we were a family of 6, who wanted to see Mayan Ruins, pyramids, swim with Turtles, visit a cenote, visit a colonial Mexican town and eat authentic food and we could spread this over 2 days. Claire emailed us with a plan that was perfect.

We had such a great time touring the Tulum ruins and snorkelling in a cenote and also with turtles. My son is 15 & my daughter is 17, we all loved it. Marcel and Ervin were wonderful. They took us to the best meal we had while we were in Cancun at a Myan restaurant in the jungle. It was a very full day but so worth it. I would recommend this to anyone travelling to Mexico. It's so nice not to be on a bus full of people just your group and we saw the ruins before the crowds got there. Absolutely amazing time!!

We booked a tour of Coba with the cenote snorkel and it was great. Our guide was Marcel and driver was Ervin. Both gentlemen were very warm and nice. With our early morning pickup they didn't talk our ears off at first being as we were still trying to wake up. Marcel offered to stop any were along the route if we needed for coffee, souvenirs, etc. The actual tour of coba was really nice - Marcel was very informative and we moved at our pace being as it was private. We got to Coba right after is opened which was perfect because the park was not crowded. We decided to rent the bikes (included) for the long distance back to the main pyramid which was fun because it is basically flat so not tough to bike. The climb up was little tough but Marcel gave us a trick that made it easier to handle the steps going up. View was amazing and he pointed out all sorts of interesting things while we were up there. The steps going down was a bit tougher but made it - this is especially challenging for myself because I have balance issues - but I did and it was worth it! As we stopped at other points along the way back at the site we would stop and Marcel would explain different points about the archeological site. We could see more people coming into the park and were glad we got there early. After about 3 hours we slowly left the park and now there was a line of people waiting to get tickets (early pick-up worth it).

We have traveled to many places in the world and have done many excursions, this one ranks as one of the best! We did a private tour, nine of us. Transportation was perfect. We toured Tulum early, so we avoided the heat and crowd. I have swam and snorkeled in a cenote before and it was nothing like this. We were the only group there at the time, it is not one of the more popular ones. We snorkeled through caverns to get to the open water, it was Amazing! Lunch was included at a family run Mayan restaurant where we were permitted to order whatever we wanted. Our trip concluded with swimming with the sea turtles. Every effort was made to make sure everyone in our group did not miss them and we all were pleased to watch these amazing creatures in their environment. As if the experience was not already perfect, Marcel was our tour guide. He was personal, informative and quickly became one of our group. Him and our driver made sure all of our needs were met. The price was great for everything we received and completely worth it. Thanks for a wonderful adventure!

Everything about the tour we took was amazing! They made it so easy for us to book before we got there and gave us a perfect idea of exactly what we would see. We did the Sian Ka'an tour and the day was perfect from start to finish. Chris & Marcel were great guides and we will absolutely call them again for the next trip!! Thanks guys!!

We hired absolute adventures for a private tour for six of us ladies. They were so thorough and had everything we needed. They provided everything from transportation to and from Cancun, cooler drinks flashlight, portable shower, wetsuits and even and wonderful lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it was the highlight of our stay ! Thanks Marcel in Ervine for making it fantastic and putting up with us for a long day !!!!!

We wanted to visit Coba, since you can still climb the structures as well as learn the history of these early Mayan people. Our guide , marcel, was excellent ( as was our driver) he answered our questions and added info that added greatly to our trip. Coba lived up to our expectations and then some. We got to set our own pace which is what we wanted. What a great tailored day just for us. The cenote experience was amazing as well as we swam among fish, stalagmites and stalagmites and swam through areas with bats ( in their nests). They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Chose them based on reviews of others and were not disappointed I would tell all to choose them.

We had an absolutely amazing day with Chris and Absolute Adventure. They picked us up from our hotel promptly and took us snorkeling with turtles in Akumal. We arrived early before the crowds which was great. We saw TONS of turtles, sting rays, and other small fish in crystal clear water. After the turtles we headed to a cenote that was absolutely amazing. Throughout the whole day Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Our personal items were stored in the van and looked after all day. I highly suggest opting for your guide to take photos with their amazing camera. The pictures we received were incredible.

Booking was very easy and tour amazing. We got early in Tulum, we had almost the ruins for the two of us. After the ruins we went snorkeling in an amazing cave system. We finish the day at a local restaurant! Highly recommend this tour.

This excursion was amazing & our guide Marcel was great. We got to see a cenote with underwater caves, snorkle with sea turtles, and see the amazing Tulum ruins. All of which exceeded what I expected. Also, to top in all off we had an authentic mexican/mayan lunch which was delicious, better than anything we had at the "upscale" all inclusive resort we were staying at.

Please do not hesitate to book an excursion with this company. They were WONDERFUL!!! One of the best tours I have ever done. They picked us up right on time with a clean, air-conditioned van that was fully equipped with drinks (including beer!) and various varieties of chips. Marcel, our tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you book a tour with this company, try to request Marcel as your guide! During the snorkeling tour, it became apparent I was not able to swim out as far as the rest of the group due to a hip injury, but Marcel was so kind and patient with helping me get safely back to the shore. I appreciated that! Also, the food at the restaurant we went to was AMAZING!! Probably better than the food at our 5 star all inclusive resort! The took us to Tulum first so we could beat the heat and the crowds. As we finished the tour, there was a huge line to get in so going there first was great! Then we went to the cenote which was beautiful.
