We had Eddy (best tour guide ever!) and Rod ( our amazing driver!). We were down for a family trip with a group of seven, and this team was incredible. Spent a day touring a cenote, Valladolid, and Chichen Itza. Eddy was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and his guiding was fun, humorous, and informative. Coba and Punta LagunaOne of the best experiences we had in Yucatan, highly recommended day trip from PDC. First of all, everything was taken care down to the last detail. Juan, our guide, was really knowledgeable and ready to accommodate any ad-hoc requests. We also visited punta Laguna where we had lots of fun spotting spider and howl monkeys, canoeing in the lake, even a zip-line activity was included All in all a very nice memory

Five Adventurers, Two Private Tours, Endless MemoriesOur family of five had the absolute pleasure of booking two private tours with Absolute Adventure Mexico during our February holiday in Cancun, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our first excursion was scheduled to be a half-day reef snorkeling tour in Puerto Morelos, but due to high winds the port authority closed the reef that morning. Instead of cancelling, the tour operator immediately offered flexible options and allowed us to switch days, giving us the opportunity to do our Tulum tour first and hopefully reschedule the reef snorkeling later in the week. We really appreciated how proactive and accommodating they were. That day, we explored the beautiful ruins of Tulum and swam in two incredible cenotes with our guide, Arturo. He was absolutely amazing with our family ? especially our three daughters. One of our daughters had just completed a Grade 11 history course and learned a little bit about Mayan culture, and Arturo encouraged her to share what she knew as we walked through the ruins. He made the experience interactive, educational, and fun, mixing history with humor in a way that kept everyone engaged. Although the tour was originally supposed to include swimming with sea turtles, the winds made that unsafe. The company offered us an additional cenote instead, and we were so glad they did. Swimming in the cenotes was unforgettable ? learning about the vegetation and fish in one, and then exploring stalagmites and stalactites in the other (Dos Ojos). Arturo guided us through caves and even into a dark bat cave that attracts many cave divers. He spoke with our oldest daughter about lichen (she?s majoring in biology), and gently reassured our youngest daughter as we navigated some narrow cave passages. His knowledge, patience, and warmth made the entire experience both exciting and comfortable. We wrapped up the day with lunch at a local restaurant, still chatting about everything we had seen and learned. It was truly a memorable and meaningful family experience. Later in the week ? despite continued windy conditions ? we were lucky enough to get out for our private reef snorkeling tour in Puerto Morelos with our second guide, Joshua. The town was buzzing with activity due to a local swimming event, and there were plenty of other tour groups around. Joshua did a fantastic job keeping us together and organized as we navigated to the boat and out to the reef. Snorkeling over the reef was absolutely incredible. We saw a sleeping nurse shark, several barracudas, and countless colorful fish. The highlight for me was floating above a sea turtle ? a moment I will never forget. Having already snorkeled in the cenotes earlier in the week helped us feel very comfortable and confident in the water. Both tours reinforced the value of booking private experiences. Having full access to our guides allowed us to move at our own pace, ask questions, focus on what interested us most, and truly connect as a family. Everything was seamless ? from resort pick-up and drop-off to having all equipment ready for us. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We highly recommend this company to any family looking for a personalized, educational, and unforgettable adventure in Cancun. We would book with them again in a heartbeat!

The highlight of our trip! Our guide was Eddy, and he was perfect. Friendly, professional, and just so well informed! He answered a million questions with a smile, and chatted through everything with us. Chichen Itza was really brought to life by him, and we had an amazing time. He was also very free with cultural insights about Mexican life both past and present. Thank you Eddy! Our driver was Omar, and he was also excellent on a long drive! Always ready to greet us with a smile and a iced bottle of water! This was our first time using Absolute Adventure, but everything was perfect. Communication, timing, payment, all done perfectly! We will see you all again next time for sure!!

Amazing tour with an awesome guide!Best tour ever! Our tour guide, JJ (Juan), was AMAZING! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny and really made the tour worth it! We had a longer tour being farther away from the sites, so more driving, but was never bored. Grateful for the experience!

We booked a trip to Chichén Itzá and had Omar driving and Eddy as a guide. Both were amazing to us and the tour was very informative and well planned. Eddy has a wealth of knowledge on many subjects and kept us talking and entertained the whole day. 10/10

Best day of our trip to tulum. JJ brought us to some mayan ruins, underground caves to go swimming and an awesome little town for some great food. We ended up going downtown after and it was gorgeous. Beautiful old mission architecture and a lot of cool shops. Gotta choose JJ and his crew when youre down here!

Absolutely fantastic tour provided by Absolute Adventure tours. We did the private tour for 6 people to chichen itza, cenotes, and lunch with walking around in valladoris. Dulce was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and ready to answer any of our questions. We appreciated the flexibility to choose the cenotes we wanted to visit. Also appreciated was how Dulce never pushed us to any touristy shops/traps during the tour. Hugo was also a great driver, picking us up right from the hotel in playa del Carmen to go to chichen itza. Smooth drive there and back allowed us to sleep on the way. Overall would highly recommend while in Yucatán to see chichen itza and cenotes with a small group.

Great family experience!Wonderful tour and both our guide Juan and driver Omar out were excellent. Our guide Juan was extremely knowledgeable and great with the whole family and included our teenage sons in the discussion. We arrive early at the site and we had full access. When we got to the conote, we had it virtually to ourselves. The lunch provider was also very good. Would highly recommend this experience especially for a family group.

Don’t look anywhere else. If they have an itinerary you like, book it. I’ve been on a variety of tours and excursions over the years and this company was top notch from start to finish. At first they didn’t show any openings on the day I wanted, but I contacted them and they were able to accommodate. They communicated every step of the way leading up to the tour day, the tour itself was great, and everything ran on time. Not sure how I could ask for a better experience.

We enjoyed a fabulous day with Juan and Enrique! They arrived at our hotel bright and early (and on time) such that we made it to Chichen Itza early and enjoyed short lines and photos of just us! Juan had already purchased our adult tickets and was well-versed with how to efficiently obtain the children's tickets. He took us on an informative tour, focused on hitting the most populated areas first, and knowing exactly where the shady spots were to learn more about the site. After the tour, they had plenty of cold drinks and snacks in the van ready for us, which was a pleasant and needed treat! The cenote was a stunning and refreshing stop before a delicious lunch in Valladolid. Juan patiently answered all of our questions and was incredibly knowledgeable. Enrique was a great driver and kept us all safe. They're a great team! I would absolutely book another trip with Absolute Adventure Mexico next time we're in Cancun!!

2 Cenote TourJosh was amazing! We did 2 cenotes. Sac Actun and Yal-ku lagoon. He did an great job telling us all about the history and was so kind. At one point he did have "save" 🙂 my mom(age 75) because she went a little past where he said to stop and the current got a little to strong for her to swim against. He had eyes on us at all times! The cenotes were both AMAZING! So happy we went with Absolute Adventures!!! Will use them again!!!

Coba and cenotes to ourselves!We had a private tour for our family of 5 of Coba and two cenotes. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the best was that we beat the crowds everywhere we went! We arrived at Coba just after 8am and there were very few people around. We had the whole pyramid temple to ourselves - hiked up, view a the top, hiked down, with no one else around! Same at the cenotes. We visited two underground cenotes afterward and were the only people there for a swim which was pretty special. Would definitely recommend! Friendly service, good communication, great schedule. Price seems to be consistent with any other private tour.

Incredible Ek Balam and CenoteI didn?t see it on the list, but we actually went to Ek Balam and the Xcanche Cenote. INCREDIBLE! Loved the whole day. The hours flew by. Our guide, Artuero, was so happy and fun and knowledgeable. We got to climb clear up the main pyramid and look around for miles in every direction. The Cenote was the perfect temperature to explore and swim and jump off the sides for an hour. What an amazing day!

Great family experience to Ek Balam and cenoteGreat experience with Arturo visiting the ruins at Ek Balam and the nearby cenote. Arturo was knowledgeable, very friendly and attentive to our needs and preferences which was no easy feat with a group of 10. Lunch was delicious at a local restaurant with great facilities.

We did Chichén Itzá with lunch at Valladolid. It was incredible. Juan and Ivan were nothing but informational and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend it. Juan not only knew so many unique details about the ruins but made our trip even better by knowing all of the locals. This made everything even smoother and knew what to recommend in the area. Absolute Adventure Mexico was awesome and so convenient! Josh was our guide, and let me tell you this guy was awesome. Josh was super knowledgeable about Chichen Itza and showed us things that you would never have known. Josh used an iPad to show us pictures to explain the background information and it was super helpful. He also catered to what we wanted and was super terrific. Going here was something that has been on my dad’s bucket list for a long time, and this company made making this happen a success. Rodri was our driver and he was great - we had no issues. This private tour made going to Chichén Itza easy, if you are planning on going definitely use these guys. Overall great service and great tour guide. Keep up the great work! Also Josh and Rodri you are the best!

Absolute adventures is a gateway into the history of Mexico. I went on a tour with Josh to Chichen itza this march. This trip was one I will never forget. Without Josh I don’t think I would have made it to the temples! He helped me navigate the park and he was very informed on the history. He could answer every question you could think of. You wouldn’t have gotten the same experience if you just read the signs, Josh allowed me to learn so much more. I would 100% recommend Josh for a tour guide, always there cracking jokes and have a good time. Thank you Josh!!

Highly recommendSo pleased we opted for the private tour rather than going along with other travelers. Picked our group of 4 up on time from our hotel. Great communication throughout the booking process. Christina was our guide for the day along with George our driver. Both great at their jobs. Early entrance into chichen itza before the crowds was a great recommendation by the tour. Also entrance into an amazing C?note before the rush so a great experience. Then Christina took us to a traditional Mayan restaurant and explained all the dishes so nice to try something from the region. Finished off with a look around Valladolid town before heading back to our hotel. Great memories made possible by this excellent tour.

Our cenote tour was excellent from start to finish! Eddie and Omar arrived early to pick us up and were ready to go, which we really appreciated. Eddie was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the local culture, and the cenotes we visited, which made the experience even more special. Lunch at Juanita’s Restaurant was also fantastic and a great addition to the day. We highly recommend Absolute Adventures, and especially Eddie and Omar, for an amazing cenote tour experience!

We did the Chichen Itza tour including denotes and lunch in Valladolid. Our van was waiting for us in the early morning as scheduled. Our guide was Arturo and he was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable about Mayan history and answered all of our questions on the tour. We learned a lot and I am so glad we chose this tour company. We did not feel rushed. We had a wonderful experience with Eddie on a Chichen Itza and cenote tour. We loved how knowledgeable he was and that he adjusted the tour to our interests. The stop at the cenote was just what we needed after the time spent in the sun. The Valladolid restaurant we visited for lunch was delish. We would happy tour with Eddie again.
