Arturo was amazing! Informative, great with kids and just fun and kind. Lunch was fantastic too! I would go again next visit.

This trip was everything we could have asked for and more. Our first stop was the Tulum ruins which was not just beautiful and well maintained, but the historical perspective given by our guide Joshua was amazing and informative. I did not expect to learn so much about the area, development, and history! Our next stop was Akumel where Joshua obtained a water guide to take us snorkeling to see some turtles. We were informed that the turtles are in freedom so it is not guaranteed however they usually do see turtles. We saw about 5 beautiful turtles, it wasn?t overly crowded at all, and our guide took us further out to the coral reef which was one of the nicest reefs we had seen in a while. With all the storms and wreckage that has really diminished the existence of many reefs, it was amazing to see this small area of beauty! It was even more amazing that our guide, Alex, offered to take us out further to see the reef! I saw amazing because he had three kids (8-9) in tow that he pulled on a ring the entire tour. That was tremendously appreciated. After the beach we walked over to a quaint restaurant that made you feel as though you were truly in Mexico and not just as some fast food place or touristy place. I wish I could recall the name. This tour also include our choice of tacos or quesadilla and neither disappointed! We opted to indulge in some margaritas and they were really amazing! Highly recommend the passion fruit margarita! The portions also really large! Beyond our expectation! Joshua and our driver, Rodrigo, took great care and time with us and literally took care of everything. We were clearly in great and informative hands. It was wonderful to also get to learn more about Joshua and his deep interest in the historical and marine perspectives! I also need to add that this was a private tour- our own van, our own driver and tour guide that was with us most of the time (just not in the water) and we were able to select our departure time from the hotel. They recommend 7am but we chose 730am and it was perfect for us and not so hot yet in Tulum. We highly recommend this trip ?Tulum, Turtles, and Tacos? and will definitely use the company again when we are back!

The most favorite part of our trip!!!!!!! Don?t hesitate, book it! The Mayan experience AND Cenotes!!!!! Incredible! And our guide Joshua made it so special!!!! Thank you so much.

Best part of our trip!!!! 6 of us, we are parents with our adult kids and their significant others. Absolutely LOVED our guide Joshua. A private comfortable air conditioned van picked us up and gave us the most wonderful tour through Coba. Bikes were so much fun and Joshua had so much fascinating information. Cenotes were unbelievable, same with the lunch. Dont think twice, just book it!!!!!! I can?t imagine leaving Mexico without experiencing this!!!!! Thank you Joshua, so very much!!!!!!

We had a really wonderful day with Alex the guide and Omar the driver! We toured the Tulum ruins where Alex gave us many interesting details and was full of knowledge to share. We swam in an underground cenote which was beautiful!! We had a great lunch and finally, swam with sea turtles, sting rays, fish and a sea snake in the ocean. The entire time, Alex was attentive to our comfort and even let us stop for a breakfast snack since it had been too early at our hotel to eat before the tour. We loved the day!! Thank you Alex and Omar. Great work ____

Juan, our guide, was welcoming knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend getting a private tour because I saw other tours getting cooked in the sun but Juan made sure we were walking through the sun to stop in the shade for pictures and explanations. The area of ruins is larger than pictures would have you believe and took about 90 minutes to get all the way around. We got out of the sun unscathed and we were taken to Playa Akumal to swim with sea turtles and other sea creatures. It was magical and my 10 year old and 12 year old absolutely loved seeing the turtles in their natural habitat. After, we got lunch at a nearby restaurant about 3 minutes up the road. The food was good and Juan knew the menu pretty well to suggest his favorites. We had been picked up outside our hotel in Playa del Carmen at 7 and were back by 1:30-2:00 pm. The perfect length of tour for our family. BOOK IT!

We had a marvelous private tour of Chichen Itza with Chris as our guide and Omar as our driver. It was wonderful! They picked us up at 6 AM at our hotel in Playa del Carmen for the 2+ hour drive to Chichen Itza, which was perfect, because we arrived before the site opened and were the first people to enter the site. We were able to take photos before others arrived, so our pics are pristine! There were no crowds at all while we were there touring, although when we left, the big tour buses were arriving, so the timing was perfect! Chris was a wonderful guide, Omar a great driver, and the communication as we were booking the tour was fast and efficient! We love that they were able to do a customized private tour -- that's the way to go! We would absolutely tour with them again!

Absolutely a great experience! I had a large group of 24. Our tour guide, Arturo, and drivers picked us up at the hotel. The tour through the Mayan Ruins in Tulum was great. Arturo was very knowledgeable. The lunch that was provided after was delicious. Orders were taken before we left the ruins, so we didn't wait long to eat. The tequila tasting was so much fun.

Tour of Chich?n Itz? was super cool. Joshua was an awesome tour guide he was super knowledgeable and funny. Cenote was refreshing and lunch was super good.

Incredible experience with cenotes/snorkeling! the water was a great temperature and our guide was awesome - very safe and don?t need to be a strong swimmer to have fun. The cave was great to see and snorkeling made it possible to explore so much of the cave. It was a total of 2 hours and then lunch was really great - an authentic Mexican meal at the end after swimming.

Fantastic Day! A big thank you to Juan and Enrique for such an enjoyable day. We visited Cancun for the first time in mid-March and were looking for a safe, educational and fun way to spend a day off the resort with our teenage son. After much research, we booked the Chichen Itza tour. It was one of the best tours we?ve ever been on. Juan and Enrique picked us up promptly at 6:15am and we reached Chichen Itza before the crowds. Everything was well organized with tickets pre-purchased for us and we were ushered through the gates. We really felt like VIPs. Juan guided us through the ruins and shared his extensive knowledge of the Mayans. It was incredible and we have some great pictures in front of El Castillo without another person in sight. We really appreciated the private tour, especially when we were leaving Chichen Itza and saw dozens of buses and hundreds of people lined up to get in. We then traveled a short distance to a ceynote. Again, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves with only 4-5 other people there at the same time. It was a spiritual and invigorating experience. After that we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a very nice restaurant in Valladolid. It was a stress-free day. Enrique skillfully and safely drove the entire trip. Juan was a wealth of knowledge and able to share so much about the culture. Both were very friendly and professional. We would highly recommend Absolute and will definitely spend another day with them on our next trip to Mexico.

Juan (our guide) reached out and strongly encouraged an earlier start (we wanted coffee) and arranged a stop for that life giving elixir for us. Great decision, cooler at Chican Itza and much less crowded. By the time we left it was much busier and a lot hotter. We had the Cenote swim as an add-on and had the out of the way location almost entirely to ourselves. Never had more than two other swimmers with us. Fantastic. Now, back to Juan. I have never had a better guide and interpreter. His knowledge of the Maya and their customs was excellent and accurate. He engaged our children (10,10 & 7) in the details and really excited their imagination. Lunch was in some hidden away local gem and has been our best meal of the trip.

If you are thinking about touring the ruins, don?t go with anyone else! Joshua was very knowledgeable. Excellent Coba and Tulum ruins private tour. Well worth the fee. Enjoyed every minute!

Excellent trip! The private 2 cenote trip was great! Joshua was outgoing and very informative. Dos Ojos was super cool and wasn?t too busy when we arrived. Nikte Ha was a different experience being semi open air and lots of vegetation. Worth every penny!

Private tour with an amazing guide. We booked 2 private tours with Absolute Adventure after reading several reviews. Both were amazing experiences. We were fortunate enough to have Arturo as our guide for both tours. The first tour was to visit the Ancient Mayan Ruins in Tul?m. Arturo was very knowledgeable and informative all while keeping us engaged. He made the tour fun and even takes the best pictures! The second tour we took was to Dos Ojos. To be honest I was a bit nervous about going into a bat cave but Arturo made sure I was comfortable and to be honest, there was nothing to worry about. The tour was amazing. We could take as much time as we wanted. If you want to stay away from the crowds this company made sure we were one of the first ones at each tour. I would definitely recommend this company. Also Arturo is a gem. Hope you will be lucky enough to have him as your guide.

Highlight of our trip! This was the absolute highlight of our vacation, our guide Arturo was fantastic in every way: knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, accommodating and made us feel completely comfortable and safe the entire day. The early morning tour of the ruins was perfect with fewer crowds and lower temperatures. Swimming with the turtles was so fun and swimming in the cenote was a top 10 moment for me and my kids as well as our friends. I cannot recommend this enough!

Perfect tour, will book again Arturo was amazing will definitely try to book with him next time we are here. Informational so we learned a lot but not too much. He made sure to ask what kind of tour we wanted. He was super fun and the private tour was great. We got to go on our own timeline. Tulum was great, cenotes were beautiful and snorkeling with the turtles was amazing. We got to see stingrays too.

Wonderful Day of Adventure. We had the private tour with Josh and our driver Enrique. It was a beautiful day at the ruins, an amazing experience at Cenote Taak Bi Ha, and saw lots of turtles and stingrays snorkeling. We were greeted on time, a lot of information shared at the sites, and felt unrushed for the day. The private tour is definitely the way to go, and it was fantastic to have the focused attention on our questions, and informative expert guide, and a safe place to leave our items for the water activities. Highly recommend.

Perfect Private Tour with Artruo We had a perfect private tour with our guide, Arturo and driver, Omar. They arrived early for our 7AM pickup at our door and we got on the road. We arrived and Tulum and were the first people in! This fantastic historical site was all ours for most of the tour. Arturo was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was a great conversationalist throughout our tour, discussing architecture, history, and places he has visited. He showed us the best vantage points to view the ruins and great places to take photos. After Tulum, we swam with the turtles at Akumal. Arturo passed us off to an official guide who took us out snorkeling to see the turtles. He kept us safe and let us take our time. What a great experience! Next was lunch at a local restaurant which was delicious. We returned to our location in Playa del Carmen in the early afternoon and had the rest of the day to enjoy. All fees and lunch were included in the price. We were offered soda and water to enjoy during the trip. We felt our time was used well, there were no shopping stops nor any strong-arming to tip. (We took a big bus tour to Chichen Itza with another company and had a horrifically long day with wasted time shopping and lots of sales pitches.)
