We can't say enough about how much we recommend this tour! We had a great tour with Juan and Armando! Armando was our driver and Juan was our private tour guide. We actually did a three cenote tour, which was not listed on the drop down menu, and we were so glad we saw all three of the breathtaking cenotes that they took us to! We started with lots of fun and zip lining plus cliff jumping at Jaguar, then took in the peaceful waterlilies and snorkeling at Nicte-Ha. We finished with the thrill of visiting the underground, yet giant cavern of Taak-Bi-Ha. All three were amazing and very different and unique. Our group ranged in age from 10 years old to adult. Juan and Armando were amazing in tailoring our day to something each person totally enjoyed. Their attention to detail and granting custom requests, such as a jungle trek to see off-the-beaten-path ruins, were an extra-special part of our day! We had as much time as we wanted in each location, and we learned a lot about the area. A delicious lunch and good, cold margaritas rounded out the day! Everyone in our group of 11 agreed it was the best day of our vacation!

Our recent tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico exceeded our expectations (2 adults, & kids 15, 12). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a private tour as it saves time and provides a more intimate experience. Don't go with the crowded tours advertised at the resorts!!! Our pickup and drop-off were timely and comfortable; we had just the right amount of time at each location without feeling rushed. The Tulum ruins and history are fascinating and Cenote Nicte-Ha was pure magic. The fabulous, fresh lunch and margaritas at Restaurante Juanita was the perfect way to end our tour. Alex (guide) and Omar (driver) were courteous and professional, and Alex's knowledge of the area and Mayan history is vast. He is a credentialed, experienced tour guide and fluent English speaker. Alex made our trip to Tulum truly magical! He believes in the importance of shared experiences to connect us and we wholeheartedly agree. His love for the local history, and culture, and joy for sharing it with others is a special experience not to be missed on your visit to the area. However, if you don't end up getting Alex as your guide, it's apparent that Absolute Adventure values quality tours and guides, so you are in good hands. We will book another tour with Absolute Adventure when we return to Mexico and specifically request Alex. Thank you, Alex and Omar!

We booked the tour to visit 3 cenotes with lunch included - clear booking process, good communication beforehand from Claire and pick up on time. Cenotes were chosen on the day with advice from Alex - we first visited Nicte-ha, which was open with beautiful clear water, fish and lily pads. Arriving early we had the place to ourselves. We then went to Pet Cemetery, a small $10 supplement each but worth it to experience a short swimming circuit through caves surrounded by stalagmites, stalactites and flying bats. Again, we mainly had this to ourselves, seeing one other group on exit. Final stop was Dos Ojos, where we were able to enter the bat cave (with the less welcome addition of a few mosquitos!). Lunch in the locally run restaurant opposite Dos Ojos was very good. Alex was an excellent guide and looked after us both throughout the day. Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience a variety of cenotes, largely avoiding the crowds and in the hands of an excellent guide with good local knowledge.

Private tour 10/10 We did a private tour to the Tulum Ruins, Kaan Luum lagoon, & Cenote Coraz?n. It was a nice mix of some beautiful sites, & a perfect amount of time. Our guide Juan was awesome, we loved chatting with him & it was as if we knew each other. We shared a lot of laughs. Our driver was great as well & very safe. The sites were incredible & Juan was very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend!

My husband and I did two tours with Absolute Adventure. The booking and confirmation process was so easy, and great communication before our tours. Thank you to Juan and Omar (both of them!) for making our Tulum Ruins/Akumal Turtles and Punta Lagana/Coba tours such memorable parts of our honeymoon. Juan was so knowledgable about the sites and we learned so much about Mayan history and other tidbits of Mexican history along the way. It was easy to tell that Absolute Adventures and Juan have great relationships with the staff ay cultural sites and the community who run Punta Lagana. He also gave us some great bar and restaurant recommendations in Tulum. We had two Omars driving across the two days - both days the van was clean, comfortable and well air-conditioned (a must). We were offered cold drinks every time we got back to the van. 100% recommend booking the private tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico.

We did a private tour today with our AMAZING GUIDE Alex and our wonderful driver Enrique! They picked us up from our resort in Tulum. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an in depth history of the Mayan ruins in Coba as we wrote driving. As a history teacher and history nut, he answered all of our questions. We took bicycles all over Coba and had time to shop. This is a must do when you come to Tulum! The private tour is absolutely worth it. My husband and I agree this was the best tour we?ve done in Mexico!

Alex and Armando took my group of 14 out for the day. We had an amazing time! We had the cenotes to ourselves and were able to spend as much time as we wanted.

Alex and Arturo are the BEST!!! They arrived to our house on time! Van was large enough and comfortable for all 9 of us. Arturo was a super safe driver, very courteous and helped Alex take care of us, making sure we all had our gear and anything else we needed. Alex knows his history and has so much knowledge!! He was accommodating to all questions, needs and requests. He even got down to our 8 yr old granddaughters level to listen to her question and explain answers. So sweet! Their care and concern for your safety was spot on!! We choose the Tulum Cenote adventure. We never felt rushed. The cave Cenote was so awesome! We smorkled at our comfort level. They were there for our safety!! Highly recommend Arturo and Alex!! Thank you both for an amazing adventure!!

Must see for history lovers This has been on my husbands bucket list for some time. He loves ancient history and I was so excited for him when we booked this tour. And it did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Joshua, is so knowledgeable and friendly. Joshua?s ability to answer all questions without hesitation was impressive. He really knows his stuff. And the ruins??breathtaking. If you?re visiting Mexico, please try to put this in your itinerary. (And ask for Joshua as your guide)!

We did a half-day private tour snorkeling with the sea turtles and visiting a cenote with Arturo as our guide. He was outstanding, and our experiences were fantastic! The cenote we visited had only one other family there and we enjoyed the jumping platforms and the zip line! I highly recommend the experience and Arturo in particular as a guide!

Amazing experience! Alex was our guide and provided fantastic historical insight into the history of the Mayans. The Cenote was beautiful and maintained by a fantastic Mayan family. The lunch was delicious and the hand made tortillas were the best we had while on vacation. Arturo was a fantastic driver and got us every where. Definitely ask for Alex and Arturo!

While staying in Cancun, we decided to schedule a private tour to Chichen Itza and a cenote swim. The dates we were interested in weren?t available. I contacted them via email to see if they had any flexibility. They promptly responded and said they could fit us into the schedule. Joshua and our driver Omar picked us up right at 6am to go to Chichen Itza. It takes about 2.5 hours to get there. We arrived just before they opened and we were able to get in line before the crowds came. We were able to get an amazing tour of Chichen Itza With Joshua and he also took great photos of us. Another benefit of doing this private tour is we did not have to make multiple stops to pick up other people from other hotels. We arrived early enough that we were able to take photos without any other people in them, which was really nice. He provided in depth history about the site, culture, and architecture. After the tour, he gave us two different options for cenotes. We arrived early to the cenote which provided us time alone without any crowds. We were also able to get photos of the cenote without people there. Joshua brought us to a lovely Restaurant in Valladolid. We had a delicious lunch together and did some shopping before we started our journey back to Cancun. During transport, we were offered food and beverages as well. Overall, we had an amazing experience with a professional and friendly guide. We feel it was well worth paying a little more for a private tour. I highly recommend Joshua as a tour guide. We will definitely be using Absolute Adventure Mexico again when we are back in Cancun!

A great experience from start to finish, pick up was prompt and transportation comfortable, stopping for comfort breaks and refreshments. The guide from Chris was very comprehensive, informative and interesting. I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks for a great trip.

Arturo was an amazing cenote guide! He took our group of 7 though dos ojos and nicte ha and we loved both cenotes so much. Dos ojos is more of a covered cave cenote and nicte ha was open with beautiful lilipads and more fish. Arturo was very knowledgeable and patient with our group wanting to spend more time at each one. We had a 10/10 experience and would recommend this service to anyone!!

This was a great way to see multiple sights in one day! We got to the ruins early before the heat and crowds. We had just enough time to hear the history and see the sights before we were on to the next stop. The cenote was small and quant with only a few groups of people so we weren?t crowded. It was beautiful. I personally would?ve enjoyed a little more time here but we had to stay on schedule. Lunch at the Mayan restaurant was delicious! Snorkeling with the turtles and fishies was so fun. We got to see some coral too! All of our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I?m bad with names so I think Arturo was our driver, Enrique was our guide, and maybe Mateo was our snorkeling guide. Thanks again for providing us with a fun and eventful day!

We recently did a private tour of the Dos Ojos cenotes through Absolute Adventure! Pick-up was seamless at our resort and we headed off in a clean, private van. Alex was our guide, he was awesome!! He told us all about the history of the cenotes, answered all of our questions and overall was a fantastic guide. Definitely recommend!

This was a great tour. It was especially nice to arrive at the Tulum ruins earlier than the crowds. We had a choice of cenotes and the one we chose was fanastic. Our guide Arturo was very knowledgeable. We did do a swim with turtles. This was a little busy for our liking with lots of people crowding the turtles. Didn?t stay at that stop long. Oh and the restaurant stop was really good.

Amazing tour of Dos Ojos Cenote We had a very good time. Dos Ojos Cenote is very beautiful and our private guide Alejandro is very knowledgeable about the area and Mayan culture. The food at the restaurant was incredible.

Our guide Arturo was particularly nice. He was able to describe and show us lots of great things in the cenote. The tequila tasting was particularly good. Very informative and we had a lot of fun. Thank you very much. We would love to go again. An absolute recommendation.

Wonderful coba tour - well done! FABULOUS coba tour and cenote swim with Joshua and Arturo. Joshua is a wonderful storyteller, making Mayan history interesting and fun. Both guides were extremely nice and helpful throughout the tour. Happy to see the countryside a bit and small towns as we drove, and Mayan jungle up close on our bike rides at coba, too. We were a big group of 29, here in riviera maya for my son?s wedding - everyone enjoyed this tour! The cenote was amazing too, and so refreshing, swimming in the cool waters in a cave on a hot sunny day. Highly recommend! Note: a fair amount of walking at coba and a lot of slippery stairs for the cenote. Not the easiest tour for those with mobility challenges.

We spent the day with Arturo, who was fantastic! The 8 passenger van arrived right on time and we were greeted with a smile. They were incredibly accommodating and considerate of any needs we had. Arturo was patient and informative as we toured the ruins in Tulum. Afterwards we made our way to a Cenote, we were lucky as there was not another person there. We have two small children (5 and 7) and Arturo was incredibly helpful and encouraging with them. We had an incredible lunch and wrapped the day swimming with turtles. We would highly recommend this group to guide you on any adventure. Thank you for making the day with our family so memorable!

Joshua gave us a fabulous tour of two cenotes with a great lunch afterwards. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend!
