I read the amazing reviews before booking with this company and they definitely did not disappoint! I can definitely say that they deserve their 5 star rating! They picked us up from our hotel right at 6am, and started our way to Chichen Itza (we stopped in they way for some coffee and breads as a light breakfast), then Joshua gave us an amazing very knowledgeable tour in Chichen Itza, constantly changing between Spanish and English to accommodate all my family. After Chichen Itza we went to swim at the Cenote and then to have a delicious lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Valladolid. We had an amazing day and would recommend them to everyone!

We had a wonderful time on the Express Chich?n Itz? tour. We had a private van for our group of 4. We got up super early, but it was totally worth it to beat the crowds and the heat. Our tour guide Joshua was fantastic. So knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We loved learning all this history. Our driver Enrique did a great job. And he found us some amazing pork sandwiches for a snack on our ride home. I would 100% recommend this tour company!

My 16-year old son and I did the Tulum ruins and cenote tour from Cancun. We had an early start and got to the ruins before the crowds. When we arrived to the cenote, we had it to ourselves. Alex our guide was fantastic and full of knowledge. My teen son even said, you can tell Alex loves his job. Thank you to Alex for a great tour and Omar, our driver, for driving us around safely. Highly recommend this tour.

Great day with knowledgeable guide Our guide and driver were great! Our drive was safe and punctual. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave great suggestions for cenote choices and lunch.

Family of 6 adults and we had a great time, saw lots of turtles, rays and even squid. Arrived just before it started getting busy. After the snorkelling we went to a cave cenote which was simply stunning. We loved swimming g about in the fresh water cave. Great day out and would highly recommend m. Booking super simple, communication great, nice air cones van and super friendly tour guide Juan who took care of everything..

100% recommend From the moment we booked to dropping us off the experience was great with this company. Very easy to deal with, flexible with a couple of changes and nothing was too much trouble. The actual experience was fantastic, early start but you are rewarded by beating the crowds, we literally had the place to ourselves and as we were leaving crowds of people where queuing to come it.. great van, guide and very well organised. Shout out to Juan who was awesome, him and my husband got on like a house on fire! Defo recommend this company.. thank you for for making it such a great experience

He was also very kind and patient in teaching my 5 year old to snorkel- we all had a great time and I highly recommend Absolute Adventure, 10/10!!

We visited 2 cenotes with Juan and both he and our driver, Omar, were wonderful! Juan had lots of great information to share about the animals/nature we were seeing and was patient in teaching my 5 year old how to snorkel. We enjoyed a great lunch after. This was by far a highlight of our trip to the Mayan Riviera!!! Thank you Juan & Omar!!

Wow! I'm so exited and happy to be able to write this message. Being a tourist from another country and not knowing what you might be getting into, is hard. I told myself that if I liked this tour I would write a review and let others know that this is the real deal. First off, we were picked up on time, grabbed some juice or coffee. They had drinks (soda, waters), and snacks (chips) for us throughout the trip. We would stop for the restroom if needed. Our, first stop was Chichen itz?, and we were among the first people there, (Alex had our tickets, so we walked right in) which makes for really good pictures when no one in the background. It also makes for great weather as it gets hotter as a day goes by. We headed over to the Cenote. We were given the choice of two, and we picked the open air, one which usually is very busy, and we got really lucky that nobody was there yet, except for maybe one group of 10 which I hear is all to us considering that they get really busy. We ended up at Valladoldid for a stroll and lunch. They order ahead so we don't wait long. This tour may be a little pricey, but I'll tell you it's really worth it. All the entrances are included and so is lunch (drinks not included). I would 1000 times recommend this, and if going back I will use them again for another tour to another place that they may offer. Thank you Alex, and to our driver for the great tour, you are a great tour guide and very informative. It was me and my husband and another couple friends and we all agreed that this was so fun and so worth it.

Our guide, Joshua, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Tul?m ruins and the area in general. He took us through the entire property in a perfect amount of time, stopping to show and tell us about specific things and took photos for us, but didn?t drag it on for too long. We chose the Jaguar cenote and it was quiet and peaceful, but not as exciting as I had imagined. The lunch was delicious and authentic! Next up we snorkeled with the sea turtles. Our guide was very helpful with our youngest child and showed us lots of sea turtles. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

We spent a great half day with our friendly guide, Arturo. We were one of the first groups to enter the ruins in the morning and received interesting information as well as enough time for photos. We even had the cenote all to ourselves! It was incredibly beautiful there. We even saw bats! We were able to decide for ourselves how long we wanted to stay and were offered a good mix of care and free time. Thank you for the good organization!

My partner and I took an amazing tour with Joshua and Rodrigo. Zip lines were super fun, and snorkelling in the Cenotes was unbelievable! Joshua is filled with knowledge, and takes amazing photos! It was an amazing day! I would 100% do this again with them on my next trip back to Mexico! Thanks again, Joshua & Rodrigo!

Joshua & Omar looked after our family of 4 to perfection. the private tour is 100% the way to go. we had our own van, driver and guide. no sharing a big motorcoach with 50 other people. We felt safe, well cared for and had a great experience to Chichen itza, Samuela Cenote and Valladolid. we were dropped off at the entrance and our pick ups were within minutes. As a senior travel agent I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR OPERATOR!.

A private tour with Arturo is the way to go! Easy pick up at our hotel, our own guide at the at the Mayan ruins, swimming in Cenotes and then swimming again with the turtles. It was absolutely perfect.

Alex (Alejandro) was a fantastic guide, attentive to our every need and very knowledgeable. His experience and enthusiasm were evident and he really helped us to imagine the lives of these ancient peoples in a compelling and interesting way. Rodrigo was a safe and careful driver who made the long trek easy. Together, they were a wonderful team that we would recommend very highly.

Rodrigo, our driver, and Joshua, our guide, picked us up in a spacious van at our hotel in Playa del Carmen at 7am. We visited Tulum first, and really beat the crowd! There was a long line to enter as we were leaving. From there, we were given the choice between 3 cenotes. We chose Taak bi Ha, which is a fairly enclosed cenote. It was amazing! We stopped for lunch at Juanita's and then drove to Akumal Bay where Joshua set us up with a snorkeling guide. We saw so many sea turtles, plus a sting ray, lots of tropical fish, and a lobster. Joshua was an excellent guide throughout the entire day, and Rodrigo was a safe driver. Would highly recommend this tour company if you are interested in a private tour!

We embarked on a private tour of the Chichen Itza ruins, coupled with a visit to Cenote Oxman and a delightful lunch at a restaurant in Valladolid. Our guide, Alex, was punctually waiting downtown at 6:15, demonstrating their commitment to excellent service by arriving early. Accompanied by a skilled driver, we boarded a comfortable 5-passenger bus, fitting our group of 4 perfectly. The tour began with a brief stop for coffee and traditional Mexican bread before continuing towards the Chichen Itza ruins. Along the way, we made a convenient restroom break, ensuring a comfortable journey. Arriving at the ruins ahead of the crowds was a remarkable experience, made possible by Alex's meticulous planning and organization. With our tickets in hand, courtesy of Alex, we bypassed any waiting lines, allowing us to delve straight into the historical wonders of Chichen Itza. Alex's extensive knowledge and engaging storytelling brought the ruins to life, enriching our experience with captivating insights into their history. Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations, offering exceptional value for money and the added convenience of avoiding crowds. Best experience ever! Alex and Omar were so kind and patient. Alex was incredibly informative about chichen and Mayan history. Every thing was seamless and very organized. Got to chichen early so it was cool and less crowded. Also was able to get some amazing photos. Had the best meal we had this trip in Vallodolid. Definitely a must and worth the price. Best tour in the area! Highly recommend! We loved everything about this tour! The tour is perfectly organized. We skipped the crowds for the ruins, practically had a private cenote swim, and had a personal guide help locate the hungry turtles. Each segment allowed an adequate amount of time to enjoy and explore. Joshua was a superb tour guide - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Transportation and lunch was top notch as well! Highly recommend 🙂

It was an amazing day and our guide Joshua was excellent! He was friendly and knowledgable and really made the day! The trip to the ruins was a learning experience. The cenote was super cool (we did the cave one). Lunch at the local restaurant was delicious. Of course my favorite part was swimming with sea turtles at Akumal! We saw 4 different turtles, a stingray and lots of fish. The transportation was comfortable and super convenient picking us up right at our hotel. Overall it was a five star day, and I would highly recommend it!

Excellent Tour Experience!! A tour to remember! Our guide, Arturo, was fantastic! He was very informative and entertaining during our tour of Telum and gave us many choices for our cenote experience. We booked this tour as our only excursion on our vacation and it did not disappoint. Juan was amazing. He helped us pick the cenotes that would allow us to see the variety. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about when to go and where to see all the spectacular views. Enrique got us there safely and the restaurant at the end was amazing!! A trip we will always remember! Our sons (8) and (10) can?t stop talking about our trip to Chichen Itza. Our tour guide, Joshua, answered all of their questions and made the tour interesting for all of us! The entire day was seamless and well planned out! We would definitely recommend!!!! Seeing the Mayan ruins of Tulum and swimming in a cenote was high on our wish list for our recent family holiday to Tulum. I loved how easy it was to find the type of tour we wished to take and book it with Absolute Adventure Mexico. I think it took me less than 10 minutes and I did it all from a sun bed at the resort. Far better than sitting at a tour desk! So firstly, the company gets an A+ for that. The private tour itself was great. We beat the crowds by going early in the morning. Joshua was our guide and Gregorio our driver. Both were warm and personable and Joshua was engaging and very knowledgable on so many topics - the history, flora/fauna/ecology, the region and geology. He had good answers for just about any question we asked. I could tell he really loved his job! We also really liked the small touches such as cold drinks in the car and offers to take photographs of us as a family. Finally, the lunch we had was delicious. Overall, it was a great half-day excursion. I highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico and would book with them again. Thank you, Claire, and your team.

Our driver Josmar was a great driver and kept the van very clean. Juan was our tour guide and Enrique our driver, they are both amazing!! I highly recommend taking this tour, Juan is very knowledgeable in the Mayan culture, answers all questions, takes care of you like friends visiting. We were traveling with 3 kids, one who is a toddler and he was very accommodating and patient. Enrique drive safely and well!

Such a great experience. Our guide was kind, informative and went out of his way to make sure we were having a good time. He found us fresh coconuts, helped us decide on the right cenote for us and worked around some special requests. The Tulum tour was stunning and the cenotes were stunning. Wonderful tour! I never write reviews, but this tour was an amazing experience for our girls trip to Mexico! Our guide Arturo was wonderful, informative and patient as we stepped outside our comfort zones while snorkeling and jumping into cenotes. He taught us a lot about Mayan history during the ruin tour. It felt like we had a local friend guiding us around--he even went out of his way to find coconuts. We had a blast, and I wouldn't hesitate to book another tour here!
