We recently returned from Tulum, and our tours with Absolute Adventure were definitely the highlight of our trip. We did two across two days: (1) Rio Lagartos private boat tour + Las Coloradas + Ek Balam with Juan Jose and Arturo, and (2) Tulum Ruins + snorkeling in a cenote (Tak Be Ha) with Juan Jose. Our guides Juanjo and Arturo were fantastic -- very personable, knowledgeable and attentive -- and made us feel really comfortable... to the point that by the end of the first day, we felt like we were just hanging out with friends and looked forward to seeing them again! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience touring Tulum, and I can't imagine going back without booking another tour through this company.

We booked a tour to go zip lining as well as the Cenote half day trip. Arturo was our guide and we couldn't of asked for a better experience! Our group was made up of younger children along with teenagers and adults. Arturo was personal with all age groups and made the trip fun for everyone. He was patient with the younger children as well as interactive and adventurous with the young adults. Absolute Adventure Mexico was great to communicate with and answered all the questions we had. My only regret was that we didn't use them for all of our outings!

This was a fantastic tour, a bit pricey but was worth the investment for the private tour with three young children (8,6,3). Our tour guide Juan, was very professional, kind, and courteous. Claire I believe is one of the owners provided quick responses to all questions, and even provided a refund for our 3 year old who ended up not able to participate in the days activities. I highly recommend using Absolute Adventures to tour the paradise of Mexico!

My husband and I spent an interesting morning with Claire visiting two cenotes and stopping for lunch at an authentic Mayan restaurant. The cenotes were beautiful with one reminding me of an open lagoon filled with water lilies and small fish and the other an underwater cavern with tiny bats flying above. Lunch was delicious and I have never tasted such creamy, tasty guacamole dip and crispy chips. Claire was a delightful guide amusing us with old Mayan legends as well as other Mexican folklore.

Well organized, safe, and fun! We did the snorkeling with sea turtles and a cenote adventure. I'd recommend this to anyone.

My wife and I visited two Cenotes with Claire of Absolute Adventure. We had a great time and learned a great deal about Mexico and the Mayans. The Cenotes were beautiful and the background Claire provided made the day that much better. Her knowledge of the area help take us to a Cenote with only two other people swimming! We ate lunch at a restaurant owned and operated by Mayans and really enjoyed it. Claire's expert guidance throughout the day made for a wonderful adventure.

Worth going earlier than the dozens of boats out there. Nice attentive crew and lots of beautiful whale sharks. Got to swim 3-4 times with them. Definitely worth it!

If I could give these guys more stars, I would. Yes, their excursions are pricier than others but worth every penny. They make the time spent with them intimate & personalized. Juan, our tour guide, was very engaging & funny. My friend & I being 2 females in a foreign country, he made us feel very comfortable & safe. We chose the Tulum/reef snorkeling/cenote tour. Tulum is a spectacular sight to see but Juan's knowledge of the ruins made the experience complete. Not to mention, he was able to navigate us in & out of the crowds which was a bonus. Everything was well organized & planned out. You didn't have worry about anything. The cenote was completely unreal. I highly recommend Absolute Adventure. We are already planning using these guys when we bring our families back to Playa del Carmen next year. One piece of advice is if you chose to go to Tulum, put on mosquito repellent. If not, they'll swarm you like a school of piranhas.

We had initially 12 people going with many children, we then added 2 more in the middle that was no problem. They had to drive to 2 different locations to pick all of us up and there was no problem. We were in constant conversation with the home base while driving to the tour location. We first did ATV riding, then did Zip lining, then swimming in a cenote. All was very good. The only thing we would lower the score here was the platforms for the zip lines. Very weak looking and they are built on trees and the trees would sway and you would sway as well. So a bit discomforting. Not at all life threatening, but discomforting. All three tours combined into one tour was great and we all had a great time. The swimming we thought would be just a way to cool off, but there is a zip line to drop into the water and a platform to jump very far into the water. The kids had a great time!

We had a wonderful private tour including Tulum, snorkelling with turtles and in a quiet cenote. Our guide Arturo was fantastic. We would highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico. Top notch service, and great value.

As a family of four, we had a very good day well planned by Claire at Absolute Adventures. We did the tour of the Mayan archeological site of Ek Balam, then visited the city of Valladolid - the convent and the cathedral, along with strolling in the city and lunch at the excellent Atrio. If you want more personal attention - Absolute Adventure is the way to go. You will have a private driver + guide for the whole day. This is well worth it if you want your time well spent ( i.e. not spending time in large buses waiting and picking up folks at various hotels). Juan was excellent, always courteous and also very funny. He led us the whole day, talked about life in QR and the Yucatan and had answers to almost all of our questions. When he didn't know, he would search on his phone until he found the answers. We had a few question re: historical references and he readily looked over his phone to find an answer. He and the driver were also very flexible re: time. We have been in the Yucata for 6 times and this definitely was the best tour of all. This was and excellent day !!!

Our trip was AMAZING!! We did the ATV zip line cnote tour and it was perfect! Our tour guide Juan went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day ever!! I would highly recommend booking through this company! Our honeymoon was wonderful because of this tour!! ❤️

What an awesome experience! Juan, our tour guide, made sure that we got as much out of this experience as possible. He also offered a lot of extremely interesting insight into the local culture. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, exciting, and safe excursion in the Riviera Maya area. This company is all about providing a top quality and unique experience to its customers. These guys are the real deal!

We did the ATV, Zipline, Cenote tour and it was incredible. Juan, our tour guide, made it even better. He was super fun and casual like hanging with a friend, yet also sooo knowledgeable. He knew so much about Mexican history and culture. Also very personal, it was just our tour guide, our driver, and my fiance and me. The ATV was so fun. My first time riding one and they give you a lot of time. They start out on a practice road that is wide but then take you into the jungle with very narrow paths with lots of bumps and turns. We saw tarantulas, lizards, and even a badger. Next was the zipline which was awesome. They don't allow you to bring cameras to the zipline but the experience was great. The ziplines were high up and fast. Finally, we went to swim in a cenote and then we were provided a delicious fresh snack. They also provide all the beer, soda, and water you want. I plan on doing another tour with this company on our next visit. I recommend for sure!!

We had a fabulous day today with Absolute Adventure Mexico! Arturo was our guide, and he made our day safe, exciting and memorable. Our early hotel pick up delivered our private group to the ATVs before any other tourist... it was as if we had the entire ATV park and jungle all to ourselves. Next, we did the zip lines, 6 zip lines and 2 bridges. Our teenage boys LOVED it. No big crowds... again, like a private zipline park. No one ahead of us, no one lined up behind us. Next, we went to a cenote where we ziplined into the water... Arturo was right there along with our family, playing and laughing in the water. He showed our boys tips and tricks, all while keeping us safe, and keeping the adventure meter on high! The day ended perfectly at the cenote with delicious homemade empanadas cooked over a wood fire. Incredible company, incredible guide. I highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico... ask for Arturo!

From the start of our day, Arturo and misael were amazing. They were promptly on time and greeted us with a handshake and explained what we were in for. During our car ride Arturo engaged in conversation that made us very comfortable. He explained the history of Mexico and introduced things we might have never seen without him being our guide. We were offered cold refreshments at no extra charge which was a nice added feature. During the ride we were asked to sign a waiver but nothing out of the ordinary for these types of things. Once we were inside Arturo led us through the ruins and allowed us to take as many pictures as we wanted and always waited for us to finish ( sorry Arturo). Arturo was very knowledgeable about his topics and was there to answer any questions we had. The tour of the ruins lasted about 45 mins to an hour and was definitely a good start to the day. After the ruins Arturo mentioned he would have to call Misael for a ride to the cenote. misael must have been close because he was there in no time. On the drive to the cenote we were offered more refreshments and were told what the cenote was going to be like. Once we arrived we were given our equipment, told how to put it on and use everything ( goggles, snorkel, wetsuit etc). We headed down and once inside the water we were given even more instructions on what to do incase of an emergency or if we had equipment trouble. Arturo proceeded to show us around the cenote and explain the history behind everything. Once we were done swimming (around an hour or so) we got to take pictures of the cenote. And again Arturo had no problem waiting. We got out to misael again and he was happily standing there opening our doors. After the cenote we went to a quiet little restaurant that was amazing. It was authentic Mexican food that you could not get at a resort or any local shop. Arturo ate with us and had more conversation about the history of Mexico. After all that was said and done, we drove back to the hotel and were thanked for a good day. Everything was top notch professional and we couldn't have asked for a better pair. Arturo and misael helped make this excursion everything and more. So happy we got them and recommend them if you book this. Definitely will book this again if we come back in town!!

My family and I booked a tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico during our recent vacation in the Riviera Maya. We opted for a visit to Tulum, snorkeling in a cenote, and snorkeling / sea turtles. Our experience with the Absolute Adventure Mexico team was exceptional. I had carefully researched tourist companies in the area before deciding to book with Absolute Adventure Mexico, but I really did not expect to meet such dedicated and attentive staff. Our previous experiences with other tour companies in the area had been impersonal and unengaging. The team assigned to our group took pride of its job, and worked hard to create a pleasant and stimulating tour experience for all of us (adults, children, and teens). Attention to hospitality details was remarkable, our group did not have to worry about anything. Our guide Arturo and our driver Juan Manuel were constantly anticipating our needs, and made sure that every member of the group felt at ease and happy. I really appreciated the fact that the conversations that took place were not scripted, and that from tickets to guide services, food and drinks, all had been taken care for us in advance. The restaurant chosen for our lunch was amazing. This was truly a private tour, at reasonable prices. The tour team was punctual and courteous. We never felt rushed. This company also offers private transportation from and to the airport; again, reasonable fees and courteous, punctual drivers. I enthusiastically recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico. From now on, when in Canc√∫n and surrounding areas, I will only book tours and transportation with Absolute Adventure Mexico.

This tour was great! Found plenty of whale sharks and everyone on the boat had the opportunity to swim with them multiple times. The guides were great. When all of the other boats began showing up our guides took us to another location with several whale sharks and no other boats. We were never rushed and told we could take as long as we liked. After swimming with whale sharks we had a wonderful ceviche and guacamole prepared by our guides while we swam at a beautiful beach.

We did the ATV/Zip Line/Cenote tour and my teenage kids loved it. Juan our tour guide was amazing. We had the best time with him. I will definitely book another tour with them if we go back to Playa. I would highly recommend booking a tour with them, and ask for Juan.

My husband and I booked Absolute Adventure to take a tour of Chichen Itza and swim in cenotes with a stop in Valladolid for lunch. Claire was extremely quick to respond to our booking request and answer any questions we had.

We did the 3 cenote snorkeling tour with them. Our guide Juan and driver Erwin both were really nice and friendly. Our guide was very helpful and gave us lot of information. The cenotes were beautiful. The overall experience was great! The lunch after the snorkeling was also quite good.

We booked the Coba/Sea Turtles excursion on July 6th. It was for two adults and two kids ages 9 and 12. We had a wonderful time with our guide Arturo! If you are booking an excursion this is the way to go. Speaking from someone who has had the experience of a large tour group nothing beats a private tour. No waiting hours to pick up everyone, no long lines, and no difficult travelers to deal with. We started in Coba and had an excellent time climbing the pyramid and riding bikes. We had lunch at a great authentic Mexican restaurant in Coba, and then we snorkeled with Alexis and saw too many turtles to count. We finally were dropped of at our resort. Great company!
