Excellent tour! We were picked up at our place first thing in the morning and got to the cenote when there weren’t any other people. Our guide was really nice and very accommodating. He took us through the two main Cenotes and the bat caves. It’s a tight squeeze to get to bat caves but so worth it. This is my second cenote and I’m so glad I did this one! And the tour guide was great!

We had the best time with Arturo on this adventure. Great conversation on the way to the atv spot. They were short on atv’s that day so we rode with two other couples and a different guide but Arturo met back up with us for the zip lines. It was just a really fun experience to be swimming in a cenote one minute and zip lining through the trees the next. Definitely recommend for couples, friends, and families! Thanks Arturo!

Excellent guide and driver,Arturo was very knowledgeable as well as the guides at Tulum and coba. We really enjoyed the trip and loved learning about the Mayan culture. We were looked after very well throughout the whole trip and would highly recommend absolute adventure especially when traveling with young children.

My wife and I booked the Tulum / Coba trip with Absolute Adventures, and added a cenote visit as well. Right from the start, all of our interactions with Absolute Adventures were first rate, starting with the communications I had with Claire, the owner. She was prompt, thorough and extremely courteous in all of our email exchanges.Our positive experiences continued when we met our tour guide, Juan, and our driver for the day, Ervin. I'm not sure how Absolute Adventure's other guides and drivers are, but we couldn't have been happier with the experience we had Juan and Ervin. They picked us up at 7:00 a.m. on the dot, as promised, and from the moment we met them, we couldn't have felt more comfortable. Juan was funny, entertaining, and extremely easy to talk to, not to mention his seeming encyclopedic knowledge of Tulum, Coba and the cenotes that we visited. Ervin was a bit more quite, focusing on the driving as he should. Still very polite and friendly though. The van we rode in for the day was extremely clean and comfortable, and the place we stopped for lunch was charming, authentic, and had great food. Juan joined us for lunch, and our conversation made us feel like we'd been friends with him forever. We talked a lot about our families and shared a lot of laughs and great stories. It was readily apparent that Juan's parent's raised him right when he stopped the van in the middle of our trip to help a man in a wheelchair that was struggling to get up a hill. I couldn't have been more impressed with Juan the tour guide, but I was probably even more impressed with Juan the person. Oh...and Tulum, Coba and the cenotes were awesome too!We've booked a fair amount of tours over the years, and the day that Absolute Adventures provided us ranks right at the top of the list. Thanks Claire, Ervin and especially Juan for a a great day. We couldn't have picked a better tour! or tour company!!

This trip was one of the best I’ve ever done, anywhere! Our guide, Arturo, was a perfect gent and really friendly and knowledgable. The highlight was swimming in the crystal clear waters of a cenote - amazing. The tour around Tulum was marred a little by torrential rain and high winds, so we didn’t spend quite as long there as I would have liked. All in all, highly recommended!

This trip was one of the best I’ve ever done, anywhere! Our guide, Arturo, was a perfect gent and really friendly and knowledgable. The highlight was swimming in the crystal clear waters of a cenote - amazing. The tour around Tulum was marred a little by torrential rain and high winds, so we didn’t spend quite as long there as I would have liked. All in all, highly recommended!

Nous avons réservé 2 excursions avec Absolute Adventure Mexico. Nous avons visité les ruines de Tulum et 2 cénotes incroyablement préservées et hors des sentiers battus. Pour cette excursion, tout s'est fait en privé : van, guide, chauffeur et visites pour nous seuls. Le timing était parfait puisque nous avons visité Tulum et les cénotes avant la foule. Notre guide a su nous renseigner sur les lieux visités et la culture Mexicaine tout au long de la journée. La deuxième excursion était hors du commun : nous avons nagé avec les requins baleines ! Il y avait non seulement des requins baleines mais aussi des raies mantas. Là encore, notre guide a été de très bons conseils et nous a permis de profiter du spectacle en toute sécurité ! Je recommande Absolute Adventure Mexico pour : - Le professionnalisme l’entreprise et la facilité tout au long de la réservation - Les guides excellents et parfaitement bilingues - Le matériel de plongée qui fait toute la différence pour le confort et la sécurité Merci à toute l’équipe Absolute pour cette expérience incroyable ! The Tulum and cenote tour was definitely one of the best moment of our holidays in Mexico. We chose a private to avoid waiting for other guests and move at our own pace. Claire explained us everything about the Mayan ruins and history, and made sure we were having a good time snorkeling. I can’t recommend Absolute Adventure enough!

Merci à Claire pour cette journée très agréable. Nous avons comme promis visité le site de Tulum , une grotte souterraine et fait la plage des tortues. Pour chaque site nous avons eu le droit à l histoire et toute les explications culturelles. La journée a été à notre rythme avec un repas dans un petit restaurant typique tenue par une famille maya et des boissons a disposition. Je recommande cette agence qui justifie son prix par la qualité du service .

An early start proved to be worthwhile to avoid the crowds and heat of the day. The vehicle was comfortable with plenty of space for the 3 of us. Our excellent driver was considerate and looked after our rucksacks whilst visiting the various sites.

We booked a private tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico as we wanted to visit Coba with friends. What was great was that we also wanted to snorkel and see the sea turtles at Akumal as you need to do this on an organised tour now, and we were able to combine the two as one trip and for a great price.Arturo our guide and Rodrigo our driver picked us up at our hotel at 6:30am. It was a bit of an early start, but it was well worth it. We got to Coba fairly early and we beat the crowds. The first part of the tour was walking with a guide, Mario who was very knowledgeable and told us all about Coba and the history. Arturo was taking photos as we went along. On the second part, we went on bike taxis firstly down to the big temple (I only climbed 10 steps!) and then some of the other ruins on the way back. Arturo was very knowledgeable. The whole tour here was excellent and made even better as for the most of it, we felt like we had the place to ourselves - fantastic.After the tour we stopped at a local restaurant for lunch. The food and service was fabulous and we chatted to Arturo about Mexico.We then made our way to Akumal. It's changed quite a lot there now. We snorkelled there a few years back before the regulations came in force. We still snorkelled off the beach with a guide just for our small group. It was quite difficult keeping up as only the guides wear fins, but we did see a few turtles which what we wanted. All in all a fabulous day, I would highly recommend booking with this company. Effortless booking process and we got some free photos as well.

If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. If you are thinking of doing any tour in the Playa del Carmen or Cancun area, CHOOSE THEM! Hands down, one of the best tour experiences I have ever had.

We are not normally people that take tours (we typically do things on our own). We are a family of four (mom, dad and twin 14 year-old daughters). That said, we saw the offering that included Punta Laguna and the Coba mayan ruins. This seemed to be just the right experience as our daughters needed to see a little more of Mexico than hanging out in the touristy areas of Playa. We did not have a car so thought this would be the way to go as this tour would offer a little adventure as well as some history.Booking was easy and straightforward over the internet. Claire was quite responsive upon booking and thereafter. We paid the deposit upon booking and cash for the remainder during the tour. Never worried and had no problems. Juan was our guide. He and the driver were waiting for us when we arrived to the lobby area of our hotel. So we were off immediately along with a cooler filled with some sodas, waters and beer.Punta Laguna was awesome. After being blessed, we then headed into the jungle with our mayan guide. He first found us some howler monkeys. Then we spotted some spider monkeys including two mommas with their babies. Such a cool experience and one of the favorites of all of us on our entire trip. We then canoed on the lake, did a short zip line and then went to a cenote. The cenote was awesome in that the water was refreshing, we saw a couple hundred bats and it was easy to get into (you are harnessed and lowered down). Getting out is a bit more strenuous as you climb out a vertical rope ladder (though you are tied into a rope from above to make sure you don't fall). Still, it is a bit tiring. Wife was a bit under the weather so she opted to remain on top. But myself and two 14 year old daughters headed down with Juan (our guide).Coba was very nice especially since you can still climb to the top. We had to shorten this experience as we just made it out before a torrential downpour of rain. Lunch was at a restaurant in Coba that was very good. If this restaurant was in Playa, i would return to it. On the way home, we stopped in a local town to pick up a coconut water for the twins.Juan was excellent guide. He was knowledgeable and quickly caught on to the humor that our family has. Driver was quiet but always felt safe. If we toured again in the area, would not hesitate to use this company.

Let me first say that I can be a bit compulsive with a borderline annoying personality, but these guys were very kind and patient with the endless questions during our customize tour planning. I love that there is a online chat application from Absolute Adventure's website. I spent an incredible amount of time chatting with the owner, Claire, to design the perfect tour for us.I am most happy that there is an option for private tours given that most tours consist of large groups. These guys know how to make your experience special without the large crowds.Our tour guide, Juan, was very relatable to us. I was ready to adopt him as a member of the family. His professionalism and depth of knowledge during our tour was amazing. We were able to engage in college level discussions on the historic parts of the tour. It did not hurt that he had a wonderful sense of humor and very easy on the eye (this is for the ladies).Want to control your tour and not have others control your day..these are the guys.

We have gone on several guided snorkeling excursions in the Cancun area, but this was our favorite outing to date. Arturo was an excellent instructor and highly knowledgeable about the history, flora and fauna of the three cenotes that we visited. Manuel was an excellent driver, and the equipment was top-notch. We were provided ample opportunity to explore each cenote and discover its unique features. The meal that was provided was delicious. Quite honestly, I cannot think of anything that did not meet our expectations.
