Absolute Adventure Mexico
We had a superb experience. We were staying at a lovely resort in Riviera Maya. We booked this trip via TripAdvisor because of the superb reviews. I had some concerns in advance because we were devoting a full day to this and needed it to be worthwhile. It was great. The tour operator (and this was run by owners, not just a broker) did a great job communicating with us in advance. We were picked up at their recommendation at 6:45 which was a great idea because we stayed just ahead of throngs of tourists on Thanksgiving Day - they were pouring in as we were leaving both Chich?n Itza and the Cenote. Our guide, Carlos, was a joy. He was super knowledgeable and a great communicator (impeccable English in our case). He?d been to CI thousands of times but there was nothing rote about how he guided us during the day. CI was about 2.5 hours from our resort, so it was a long day, but it was worth it. CI is breathtaking and the Cenote experience was easy and a lot of fun. The lunch was quite good. The whole day was paced just right. Great value, great guide, great day.

Do things that take your breath away?. The tour from the start was great ? Pick up was on time ? No language barrier !?. The drive was great, nice roads? JAYJAY (Juan) was great? My family loves history and he answered all questions ? I hope he enjoyed us as much as we did him! Alexander loved his job on the tour! __ When we come back we will not hesitate and book with them again?

Fabulous day at Tulum, then snorkelling in the Cave Cenotes, lunch in a great local restaurant and finally swimming with Turtles at Akumal. Joshua was a brilliant guide, super friendly and really knowledgeable and well well supported by our friendly driver Omar. Couldn't recommend the trip highly enough..

Family vacation - highly recommend We were a party of nine (my family and my sister?s family) and had an age range from 7 years old to 49 years old, so a very large range. Throughout the three different activities, every single one of us felt attended to and engaged in the tour. The food was also great. We never felt rushed or shuffled along. Our tour guide had exceptional historic knowledge of Tulum and we learned a lot too!

I really enjoyed my trip. It’s my first time coming to Mexico and was deciding whether booked with a private tour or a group tour. After this trip, I can say confidently, choosing the private tour is the best decision!! With our tour guide, Arturo, we were able to avoid crowds when we were at Tulum, to know all the details of the Tulum building, and to go to the two best cenotes (dos ojos and cenotes nicte ha), to slow down our trip whenever we needed to. Mind blowing and relaxing at the same time. My friend and I are already talking about our next trip with them to Chichen Itza

A beautiful time in Mexico We had a beautiful time in the cenotes, it is my favourite memory of our Cancun trip! We went to Nicte Ha, it was a small gem but so lush with water lilies and baby fish. And then we went to Taak Bi Ha which was a very cool cave. The pickup was very smooth, both the driver and our guide Alex were so kind and made sure we were safe. Highly recommend doing a tour here.

Highly recommend! Such an amazing private tour with an amazing guide (Joshua). Wonderful family experience exploring Tulum (and beating the crowds!), swimming in Jaguar cenote and snorkeling with turtles in Akumel.

Our guide Alex, was super knowledgeable. He even taught us to count in ancient Mayan. He kept the trip fun and exciting. Our driver Rodrigo kept us and our stuff safe and secure in the van and made sure our trip down THE bumpiest road in Mexico was not murder on us. 110% will be booking here again. Their service went above and beyond for us and we enjoyed every min of the day.

We went on the Tulum Ruins tour with a visit to a cenote with Absolute Adventures Mexico and we had a blast! Our day started out at 6:30 am with our guide Arturo and our driver Carlos meeting us in our hotel lobby. They showed up on time, and extremely friendly. We had about an hour and a half drive down to the Tulum ruins where we were the first to arrive. Arturo and Carlos offered us water and soda before we entered the ruins. Being the first people to walk in the ruins that day was an amazing experience seeing all the history up practically all to our selves. Arturo was full of facts and knowledge, being able to answer all the questions we threw at him. He is also quite the photographer taking excellent photos of us. After walking through the ruins and absorbing all the knowledge, we walked back to the van seeing hundreds of not thousands of tourists walking towards the ruins, making us glad we had opted for the private, early tour. It is worth all the money to see the ruins to yourselves. We were offered cold soda, juice and water after getting back to the van and headed to Cenote Nic Te Ha. We were given the option to choose between 3 cenotes but after discussing with Arturo we figured based on the weather and what we wanted this would be the best one. The Cenote was beautiful with lots of different fish and plants. We snorkeled in a cave and enjoyed the crystal clear water. We had to all to our selves for about 75% of the time we spent there. Arturo again shared all his knowledge with us and swam around with us to show us all the cool spots. We were never rushed and Arturo reassured us that there is no rush and we can swim how ever long we like. When we decided to head to lunch Carlos offered us more beverages and we drove down the bumpy road with Carlos navigating extremely well to avoid as many bumps as possible. The lunch spot was a very authentic Mexican restaurant that was delicious. We got to choose what we wanted to eat and had some greats chats with Arturo who at this point felt like a family member! Once done lunch we were again offered beverages before the hour and a half drive back to our resort. I have to say Arturo and Carlos provided A+ Service. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. They were so professional yet personable, and full of knowledge and fun that I would recommend to anyone I know to request to tour with them! Next time we are in the area I would love to go on another tour with Absolute Adventures Mexico.

I can't recommend this company enough. We did a private half-day tour to Tulum + Cenote Nicte Ha + Cenote Dos Ojos with Arturo. We beat the crowd and had the highest tour quality. Arturo is very professional and knowledgeable, and he is great at taking pictures. The whole tour was chill while super interesting and breathtaking the whole time. They never rush us through anything, which makes the private tour better than the group tours.

Our guide, Joshua, took us on a tour of the Mayan ruins, snorkelling with sea turtles, and cenote Taak Bi Ha. We had a fabulous time and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. We had an awesome time with our guide Joshua and driver Omar today on the Tulum with Cenote and Turtles Snorkelinf tour! It was a rainy day but that didn?t slow us down at all. Every stop was beautiful and Joshua was so informative and interesting throughout. I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone interested in a private Tulum tour. Thanks for a great day!

We went to the Tulum ruins, a beautiful underground cenote, and snorkeling with the sea turtles with our Alex and Carlos as our guide/driver. They were on time and professional during the whole trip, Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly, was able to answer all our questions, and had lots of interesting information about the Mayan culture and history. Carlos was friendly and did a great job navigating the area and getting us to each part of the excursion on time. I’d highly recommend them both and the tours in general.

Best tour and tour guide! We had a fantastic day with Juan and Omar. We felt so very grateful to have this private tour of Tulum and then a magical cenote all to ourselves followed by sea turtles. It was very enjoyable. Juan really knows so much about the history and culture. Omar drives very safely. We felt like we had made two new friends by the end of the day. It was a great time! We will definitely book again.

Visit to the Tulum archaeological site with guide Arturo The experience of visiting the archaeological site of Tulum with the guide Arturo was excellent, the ruins themselves surprise us with the way Arturo tells the whole story of this site, the landscape is beautiful and the guide is very helpful, interested in guiding us in the best way possible. , trying to avoid crowds and the scorching sun at 8:00 AM, our thanks to Arturo.

This was our first trip to the Yucatan peninsula so we wanted to book something that would really help us get to know the area, history and culture of the area and its people. While there were many tours and options to pick from, ultimately, we decided on Absolute Adventure, due to the nature of the package that was offered that had what we wanted to experience, while staying there. While we expected to receive a tour guide showing us the sights and talking about the usual historical information of the area we were visiting, what we actually got was SOOO...MUCH...MORE!! 😀 Our tour guide Alex, was fantastic and we definitely recommend him to anyone looking to book this tour, in the future. Not only did Alex take us on an adventure, he was incredibly insightful about the area, the subject matter, and really made us feel the cultural connections to the area. Most of all, he was a great, 'down to earth' kind of guy. While very professional, he seemed authentic and that was what we appreciated most.

Tulum ruins and cenote- great private tour! Great half day adventure with Joshua! We did the tulum ruins and 1 cenote tour. We learned so much and really enjoyed our time exploring. We never felt rushed at any point. Joshua was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I booked the private tour of Tulum ruins, swim/snorkel in a cenote, and Akumal for snorkel with sea turtles for my husband and myself. The whole day and experience were fabulous! I can see why the reviews are all 5 stars. Carlos was the driver and stays with the van to keep your things safe. Alex was our guide, and wow! What a wealth of knowledge he has. We learned a lot about Mayan culture and history, which was interesting and I don’t normally enjoy history. That part was for my husband but I also enjoyed it, and the ruins and the land next to the sea are beautiful. Also Alex has a wonderful personality, cares a lot to have you enjoy your experience, and is really in the right occupation. We selected a cenote that was right for us with some guidance from Alex. It was really fun and a gorgeous, tranquil spot. I am from Ohio and we found the temperature nice in November, but for those from a warm climate maybe a rash guard shirt might help. Lunch was in a traditional Mayan family owned restaurant that was a pretty and cool building, all open air. The food was delicious and very authentic. Playa de Akumal is gorgeous!! Unfortunately the ocean was a little rough that day but our ocean guide had a life preserver if we wanted to rest. The water stays shallow and we did not swim terribly far to see the turtles. Some wind and small waves made it a bit unclear/sand mixed up but without those conditions it would be clear and like glass I think. We still saw about 12 sea turtles very close up, about 4 feet away. I absolutely loved it!! I can definitely recommend this company if you want to have a wonderful experience. You could probably do all of this in a less expensive way but for safety and convenience and not a care in the world, this is your team! Muchas gracias Alex! We enjoyed you and the day so much!

Beautiful experience 🙂 Our tour with Arturo was perfect! He?s witty, knowledgeable and great to chat with. It was mine and my partner?s fourth anniversary and despite the rain, swimming in the cenote was so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed every minute spent there. The lunch afterwards was authentic and delicious. Tequila tasting was a lot of fun and tasty as well. A perfect experience!

A fantastic and memorable day trip! The whole day was fantastic. Arturo our guide and Carlos our driver were both great, very knowledgeable and helpful. The tour of Tulum was really fascinating and well worth going early as we beat the crowds. The Cenote suggested by Arturo was amazing and we had the whole place to ourselves for the hour. For the turtles, unfortunately it had been quite windy so visibility was poor but our guide still managed to spot some for us when they surfaced and I can imagine it?s amazing when the visibility is good, even though it was a bit busy in the water. One tip, make sure you put plenty of sunscreen on first thing as you cannot reapply at the Cenote or Turtle swimming, better still take a rash vest for the turtles.

Just perfect to relax and enjoy the sites. Arturo, our guide, and the whole company experience was fantastic. We went early to avoid crowds and it was so worth it!!! We had the architectural sites to ourselves for photos and could hear the guide very well. The turtle swim was exceptional, and the lunch to follow was close by and worth it to not have to pack extra things to take care of ourselves. Arturo was amazing. Joshua was amazing. And I felt comfortable leaving my stuff with Carlos in the car.

Chitzen Itza was beautiful in the morning sun. Chitzen Itza was definitely worth seeing. Our guide could speak perfect English and French and was a very good guide. We got answers to all our questions. He could tell very engaging stories and also told us a lot about current customs and habits in Mexico. This tour operator is definitely recommended.

Created memories to treasure. This activity I knew would take me out of my comfort zone as I am not a strong swimmer but Alex from Absolute Adventure and Jose at the turtle beach were so reassuring and helpful that it gave me the confidence to relax and really enjoy the experience. It was wonderful to snorkel with the turtles and many more fish too. At the cenote Alex accompained us into the underground cavern, explaining as we explored. It was truly magical and given us memories to treasure. Thank you so much.
