We had a wonderful experience to Chichen Itza with Juan! He was extremely knowledgeable and kept our two teenage sons interested the entire time. We had to make an unexpected stop and Juan and our driver were very flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend this company!

Not to be missed We had an unforgettable experience on this tour learning about the Mayan civilization and walking among these amazing ruins. Our guide, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. He was so friendly and very considerate about our needs, since we are a bit older. The setting is right on the coast, so you have magnificent views of the water. You come to have true admiration for the many discoveries and advances achieved by the Mayans.

Wonderful and unique experience! The 2 cenotes we visited were each quite different and both remarkable -one open air with lilypads and the other underground.. Neither was crowded or touristy. They were really beautiful snd so unique! Perfect for swimming and snorkeling.Our guide Joshua was awesome. He was very informative and fun to talk to. Highly recommend!

Best part of our vacation! We had an amazing tour with Juan! He was extremely knowledgeable and kept my two teenaged sons engaged the entire time. We had to make an unexpected stop and Juan and our driver were very flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend this company!

We went to the ruins, swimming in a cenote, lunch and swimming with sea turtles. Alex the guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. The whole tour was at our place, and we enjoyed each thing we did. Lunch was at a fabulous local restaurant. Omar the driver was a conscientious driver and got us where we needed to go. Would highly recommend this tour and Alex and Omar

Really the BEST experience Went with to Tulum for a bachelorette party, and our group wanted to go to a Cenote during our stay. As you can imagine, no one was fond of the idea of leaving super early in the morning, but we are so glad we did. Alejandro and Rodrigo picked us up at our airbnb in Tulum town, and patiently waited for all 6 of us to get in the van. Alejandro was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of our random questions while touring the ruins. There were hardly any people when we did our tour, so we were able to appreciate the ruins and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. We realized how lucky we were to beat the crowds as other tours started to pour in as we were walking out. The cenote was absolutely magical, and once again we arrived before any of the crowds. At one point we had the whole cenote to ourselves. Alejandro made sure we were comfortable the whole time, often helping take pictures, bringing us snorkels or lifejackets so we didn't have to get out of the water, etc. Do not even hesitate to book this tour - and 100000% ask for Alejandro. He's just one of those people that truly stands out as a kind soul.

We loved our tour with Aquaman/Alejandro (we’re big fans of his work). I wanted a tour that wouldn’t take all day and was attracted to the exclusivity of a private tour. It is absolutely worth it. Alejandro and Rodrigo were punctual and stopped for coffee on our way to Tulum since our pick up time was 6AM. We arrived at the entrance of Tulum a few minutes before the gate opened and we experienced total serenity in a magical place. As we left it was filling with tourists and we were so glad we got there early. Alejandro is an amazing tour guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable and considerate. We appreciated that he was passionate about the Mayan culture and loved the history. He allowed us to explore the cenotes but also taught and showed us interesting aspects of them. We had plenty of time at each location and were well cared for. Do not hesitate to book and make sure to ask for Alejandro!

Cenotes & tequila tasting We took a private tour of Cenotes & tequila tasting. Had a great time. Our guide, Arturo, was awesome. He helped me overcome my fears & I got to experience things I never thought I could. My husband loved the tequila tasting. Got to try brands he never would have before. It was fun, educational & relaxed. We never felt rushed. Can?t recommend this group highly enough.

We did the Cenote & tequilas tasting private tour. Had the best time! Our guide was fabulous. I didn’t know if I could use snorkeling gear & explore the cave but he was so calm & patient with me & kept encouraging me. I was able to conquer my fear & it was magnificent. It felt like we were in another world. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the tequila tasting & we learned a lot about how tequila is made. He got to try brands he world never normally get to taste. I can’t recommend this tour group highly enough. World definitely use them again.

Wonderful private tour with our guide, Arturo, and driver, Gregorio, to the tulum Mayan ruins followed by a cenote and lunch. We beat the crowds and learned so much along the way. It was definitely worth the money and would highly recommend. It felt like we were just going out with an in the know local and not some huge tour outfit.

Cenote and Ruins in Tulum. Arturo, our guide, was excellent; from his knowledge of the area, to his friendliness and easy going mentality, it was a treat to spend the day with him. They were on time in a nice clean vehicle waiting to welcome us. Would highly recommend.

Very organized and enjoyable experience! We went snorkeling and swimming with turtles, swam in a cenote, and had an authentic Mexican lunch. We had Arturo as our guide and we received a private ride from our Airbnb directly to each activity. He educated us on history, safety, and the wildlife in the area; I highly recommend this company and our group of 8 had an amazing time!

Amazing day with Arturo exploring a cenote! Absolutely amazing - Arturo and Gregorio were fantastic! They were right on time, moved us from activity to activity promptly while giving us plenty of time to enjoy the day, and are clearly well liked and respected by everyone we encountered. Arturo was so wonderful, funny, and kind. Highly knowledgeable about the cenotes and encouraged us to explore the beautiful sites fully. Would recommend to anyone looking for a group tour service!

Amazing My husband and I had an amazing day with Arturo visiting the ruins and swimming with the turtles. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so many interesting things about the ruins. Arturo was also very accommodating and easy to talk to. We felt very comfortable with him and enjoyed a beautiful lunch as part of the tour. The guide that took us snorkeling was excellent especially as neither of us have snorkeled and I?m a basic swimmer. Well worth the cost of a private tour. This was the highlight of our time in Tulum

Great time with Arturo our guide to dos ojos cenotes. Excellent time, informative, beautiful clear water, swimming between stalagmites and stalactites and even into a bat cave. I highly recommend this excursion. was the best part of our whole trip. Thank you Arturo and Absolute Adventure Mexico for the awesome experience.

Excellent tour. Private is the way to go. Just the two of us, our guide, Juan, and our driver (sorry can't remember his name!) Pick up right on time in a van, very early to beat the crowds. Juan was very energetic and gave us lots of information. We arrived at the ruins early, very quiet, not busy. Good tour around the site, lots of information. As we were leaving, the crowds were pouring in! Good timing! Off to the Cenote. Beautiful cave and not very crowded. A little scary getting down there and into the water, but Juan was very patient and helpful and got me in there in one piece! Lunch was a great choice, with great food and great conversation with Juan. Would highly recommend for couples or small groups. Claire (co-owner) also very prompt at returning email requests.

Awesome excursion This excursion to the dos ojos cenotes was awesome! Arturo is a fantastic guide, very informative and fun. The cenotes was beautiful, crystal clear water for snorkeling. Had such a great time. I highly recommend this excursion with Arturo and Absolute Adventure Mexico. My husband does not like snorkeling (we are in our late 60?s) and he was very hesitant to go, but when he had a choice to exit the water or swim back he readily said swim back! He claimed this excursion was the best part of the whole trip and I totally agree! Going into the bat cave was awesome, swimming between stalactites and stalagmites, wow! An experience I?ll never forget! Thank you Arturo for a great time.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time during our 2 Cenote day tour with Juan and our lovely driver Omar! Juan was very knowledgeable about the cenotes and ensured we had them all to ourselves (or mostly to ourselves) by getting there early. He was a really fun guide and even helped take some photos of us in and around the cenotes. We really loved the bat cave at Dos Ojos 😀 Absolute Adventure was even able to cater the tour to us by taking us to a specific cenote we wanted to see, but wasn't on their usual list of cenote options. Thanks for making our trip so memorable!

I can not rave enough about our tour and our tour guide, Alex! This was my sister and I’s first time in Playa Del Carmen and I really wanted to swim in a Cenote and see the Tulum Ruins and this was the perfect way to do it!! They picked us up right at our hotel and we got to Tulum right away when it opened when there was hardly anyone else there. After we chose to swim in the Cenote Taak bi Ha, which was absolutely incredible!! Alex was so informative teaching us all about Mayan culture and Mexico, not to mention just an all around good person and super easy to talk to, and I’m so glad we got to “hang out with a local” having an amazing experience! He also took some great pictures of us to capture the experience! The lunch was also incredibly delicious!! This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip and an experience I know I’ll be talking about for years to come. I can not recommend this company and tour enough!

If you are looking for a unique and unforgettable way to explore the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza, I highly recommend booking a private tour with this company. The tour was well-organised, informative, and fun! Our guide Juan was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of the site, and he answered all our questions with enthusiasm. He also took us to some hidden spots that were not crowded with tourists, and we got to see some amazing views and details that we would have missed otherwise. The private tour also included a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, and a refreshing swim at a nearby cenote. The whole experience was worth every penny, and we learned so much about the fascinating civilisation that once thrived there. This was definitely the highlight of our trip, and we are so glad we chose this option.

Excellent experience Josh and Enrique were excellent! Josh was extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the Mayan ruins. He took some family photos of us at the site that turned out great. We have good photos to remember our time there. At the cenote, Josh was great with my kids. He even jumped off the rocks into the cenote to make my kids more comfortable with it and both my 11 year old and 6 year old jumped in! He made it a good thing for them to try it and experience that. Definitely recommend them for anyone going there.

Booking is very easy online, communication via e-mail was so easy, and the pickup for start of the tour was so smooth. The vehicle was comfortable and the drive was comfortable (thank you, Omar!) Honestly, every single time we come to the Playa del Carmen area and plan to do a tour (even if a repeat tour as we plan to bring family to the area in the future), we will continue to always come to Absolute Adventure Mexico!

Maya Civilization We did a private Chichen Itza ruins and Valladolid tour with Alex and Enrique. It was amazing! Alex is very knowledgeable and explains the greatness of the Mayan civilization easily. Enrique is a good driver, and both made my elderly mother feel appreciated. I highly recommend this adventure.
